Bergsicht Country Farm Cottages

Cozy and comfortable a little slice of heaven.

The location was great - outside Tulbagh but not too far away. The hot tube was a little faulty but being in the winter, we only tried it once. When we told the owner about the fault, it was promptly repaired.

The location was beautiful, the views, the quietness and peace and the sounds of the animals was just wonderful. The drive wasnt too far out so getting there and back home made it all worthwhile. We will definitely be back trying another cottage!

Not much, everything was well thought out, we didnt have to bring much other than food basics, toiletries and comfy clothing!

The cottage itself is perfectly equipped for self-catering. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the open-plan layout made it feel spacious and welcoming. But the real stars of the show are the private wood-fired hot tub on the deck and the indoor fireplace. We spent hours enjoying the Winterhoek and Witzenberg mountains as our backdrop – it was pure magic, especially at sunset when the orchards glow golden. Evenings could be spent braaiing on the private patio while the fire crackled inside. Absolute bliss!
