The location was beautiful, the views, the quietness and peace and the sounds of the animals was just wonderful. The drive wasnt too far out so getting there and back home made it all worthwhile. We will definitely be back trying another cottage!
Not much, everything was well thought out, we didnt have to bring much other than food basics, toiletries and comfy clothing!

The cottage itself is perfectly equipped for self-catering. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the open-plan layout made it feel spacious and welcoming. But the real stars of the show are the private wood-fired hot tub on the deck and the indoor fireplace. We spent hours enjoying the Winterhoek and Witzenberg mountains as our backdrop – it was pure magic, especially at sunset when the orchards glow golden. Evenings could be spent braaiing on the private patio while the fire crackled inside. Absolute bliss!

Location is fantastic, pictures are very accurate. The hot tub is lovely, although I think the filter needs to be run more often. Cutlery and crockery is high quality. Braai facilities are excellent. Stunning views, and very peaceful.
Shower pooled a lot of water, which was quite gross. Pillows and bed are slightly cheap, and not as comfortable as they could be. Would've appreciated the water in the hot tub to be filtered/cleaned. Daily servicing would be appreciated. The radio/speaker system wasn't working and is too old for us to play any music, or connect to.

We loved our stay and will most definitely go back in future and bring friends to book the other cottages. Upon our arrival the fireplace was packed for us as well as the hot tub. Its the small things that made a big difference.
