The property was spotless and everything was thought of. We arrived during a heatwave, 45 degrees, which was a challenge!! We used the hot tub as a cold tub and it was amazing. The communication with the owners was first class, they answered all our questions within minutes. I would not hesitate to return.
I would say if you are going to Untether you need a car, the approach road is a good 5 minute drive from the main road which makes it difficult for taxi's/Uber although we finally found someone to take and collect us to a wedding in Wellington.
Stock up on food before you go and there will be no need to leave!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach umwerfend und perfekt,um ein paar Tage richtig auszuspannen. Die Häuser sind sehr hochwertig (Echtholz-Möbel,Küchenzubehör von Le Creuset und Victorinox, hochwertige und bequeme Outdoor-Bestuhlung, super bequemes und großes Bett ,tolle Pflwgeprodukte usw.) und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet,und die Aussicht einfach atemberaubend. Heaven on Earth
Der letzte Kilometer des Weges hinauf ( bricky way) ist mit einem kleinen Auto herausfordernd und man kann nur hoffen,dass kein Gegenverkehr kommt.

Well furnished cabin with quality kitchen equipment, comfy bed and fantastic braai, pizza oven and outdoor deck. Very friendly and helpful team on site who helped to quickly fix our broken fridge and turn around some laundry for us. The concept is excellent but we weren’t able to fully enjoy our stay, primarily because of the location and associated weather (see below).
The final section of road leading to Olive View has parallel strips of loose bricks which were just about passable in our VW Polo. We didn’t feel comfortable using the car during our stay as we were concerned about the risk of punctures - I wouldn’t recommend staying here without an SUV or similar (needs to be mentioned in booking site). Anticipating from other comments that this could be an issue, we came prepared with enough food for our complete stay (4 days). However, the biggest issue was the wind on this hilltop - it was gale force and blew for 3/4 of our stay - very noisy all day and night and preventing use of the outdoor facilities over this period. The window blinds do not block all sunlight so the unit also heats up quickly in the day and the aircon switches off automatically in the evening (not mentioned in the booking site) which made sleep difficult at times. Other niggles included no door to the en-suite toilet so sounds/ smells enter the bedroom and a section of the onsite walking trail being very overgrown. Arrive in calmer, cooler weather, in an SUV and you would have a better experience.
