This is exactly what I pictured when I imagined staying in Scotland. The house is beautiful and the owners along with their two dogs could not be anymore wonderful. We also had one of our best breakfasts in Scotland.

Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels).
The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!!
I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…

This is the second time we have stayed at Disblair House. We visit Aberdeenshire 2 - 3 times each year and this hotel would always be our first choice.
