I had a very good stay at this hostel. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and relaxed from the moment you arrive. The staff are genuinely helpful, approachable, and clearly enjoy what they do, which makes a big difference.
It’s important to remember that this is a hostel, not a hotel, and it delivers exactly what it promises. If you are staying in a shared room, occasional noise from other guests is simply part of the experience and not something the hostel can control.
The location is excellent, the vibe is great, and the staff create a place where travelers feel comfortable and welcome. A solid choice for anyone looking for a sociable and affordable stay in Edinburgh. The location is just right in the center so this bonus!

The location is great!
The bedroom smelled like public toilet :( , also there should be some policy about refusing entrance to people that is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, it is unfair that the other guests have to deal with nasty smells and behaviour.

Exactly what you'd expect from a hostel. Well managed. Clean throughout. It would be a 10 star experience if I could close off the skylights. So, it felt a bit colder.
Wasn't able to close the skylight windows. Also, having to carry a security pass and the property is not accessible.
