    The Baxter Hostel is located in the city centre, yet unaffected by traffic noise. It's conveniently located, with the central train station just across the street (a 2-minute walk). Popular shopping malls are also nearby, also a 2-minute walk. The Baxter Hostel is the only one in the Edinburgh area that offers free breakfast to guests. The Baxter Hostel was very clean throughout. However, the hot water in the bathroom wasn't hot enough, possibly because the water heater couldn't supply enough hot water. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, except for a microwave. Some of the seat cushions are torn and need repair. Important Notes: 1. Breakfast is available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. 2. The kitchen is only open until 10:00 PM. 3. Hot water in the bathroom is only available until 11:00 PM to avoid disturbing guests' rest.

    Hostel is located on 3rd floor. Narrow steps and we have to go by walk only. Carefully check and do the booking. But the location is exceptional.
