Location was fantastic, right by royal mile. Our private room had a different entrance from dorms, which was nice. Private bathroom was clean and comfy enough, small but don't expect more in city centre old house. Room was clean and comfortable. Price was affordable especially during high season.
Furniture in the room was quite old and worn. Room had no real window, and you could hear door slamming next to the entrance often.

Amazing location, super clean, layout of the big dormitories was very well planned out and actually have great privacy. Despite it being winter, it was nice and warm in the rooms. Showers spacious and water was mostly nice and warm

Property is in an Excellent location, near everyhting you’d possibly like to see. It has a nice kitchen and a common room + movie room, which is very nice. Rooms were okay spacious, and bathrooms were okay, though semi small.
It was really cold inside (staff told us about 15 degree C), rooms were damp and smelled somewhat like wett socks. Staff was also not interesting helping us with the cold room, even giving an extra blanked seemed like a task over the moon to them.
