Charming and Comfortable

It was one of the most charming places I stayed. Clean, quaint, friendly, comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and the room was wonderful. The breakfast options were great and the location was quiet while still feeling close to town.

Very pleasant stay

John was a very friendly host. Everything was spotlessly clean. Great private parking. Although breakfast was continental help yourself there was lots of choice from fresh fruits and yoghurts, toast, cereals fresh orange juice , tea coffee etc will definitely return.

Slightly dark wooden decor but everything catered for regarding housekeeping . Iron and ironing board in the room etc

Great find this B&B!

Everything was as described. There was freedom to come and go and John the owner was helpful and attentive to his guests' needs or wishes. The well-appointed room was quiet and it was impeccably clean. Very comfortable. Good varied continental-style breakfast with fresh fruit and berries on offer too. Nice fresh coffee.

The only (minor) wish I might have is for stronger lighting.

Perfect place to stay in Aberdeen, beautiful room, great welcome, lovely breakfast.

The room was large and very comfortable. We had a very friendly welcome from our host, who told us all about local eateries and where to walk to get to the city. We were only 10 minutes walk from the Main Street. Breakfast was relaxed and plentiful.

En suite bathroom was small but was fine for us.

Friendly Family Hotel for business and holiday in the centre of Aberdeen

The Beeches hotel is a small family managed hotel with a nice personal touch. It is a welcome break from the anonymous large hotel chains where you are just a number. The rooms are very comfortable. I had a pretty large room with windows towards the great Western Road (you could hear the traffic but it certainly wasn't too noisy). It included a nice small tea making facility (which was not strictly necessary as the common room downstairs was accessible at any hour and included provider variation of teas and an excellent espresso machine). John gave me a very warm welcome and was extremely helpful during my stay. I certainly wish I had reason to stay longer :)

I'm really hard pressed to name anything which could be improved. The only thing which comes to mind (if it is possible to change that) would be the increase of the fairly low water pressure in the shower. Everything else was excellent.

Really comfortable stay - highly recommend

Loved the location and being able to park the car at the back of the property. Great to have a twin room option and the room was very spacious. The breakfast options was unexpected and fantastic. I liked that it included a good continental selection and an expresso machine.

John the owner was an absolute gent, helpful attentive and a genuinely nice guy. I slept in for breakfast but knowing I was still there John left breakfast out for me, check in was quick location excellent for the centre and the room while a little dated was perfect for what I needed.

Amazing stay with lovely host in spacious room

John is an amazing host. He is kind and thoughtful and dropped in the breakfast area for a chat every morning. The room was super spacious and the facilities were simply amazing. Also, the towels smell great! The street is slightly busy during the day but quiet at night. The property is a 25” walk from the city centre (10 from the start of Union Street) which is fine! Public transport is also very near. Breakfast is good. Really a lovely place, I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

For me the bed was slightly too soft but that’s a personal preference. Got kicked out of the WiFi sometimes, but generally just minor issues.
