The breakfast room is colourful and bright & very welcoming. For the continental breakfast it gives a good variety of choice. Maybe a selection of fruit might be good idea, but otherwise we both left full and content. Very welcoming staff member, who I have had previous conversations with and made me feel welcomed. Room size was good with plenty of storage space & the option to sit on the chairs and have a coffee rather than just on the single chair at the dressing table. Plenty of charging stations too.
Just a minor repair needed on the wardrobe door, but not enough to warrant a negative review. Although I have used the lodge several times before, maybe reception could have been a bit more welcoming. Maybe just a little "enjoy your stay", just to make us feel a bit more welcoming. But won't put us coming again.
