This property was exceptionally clean. The only thing we are complaining about is that the window to the street doesn’t close completely so we can hear the noise from the street. It was quiet at night because there was not cars driving, otherwise there was noise. One of the greatest things we loved was the breakfast. There are no places in Florence that give breakfast for free like Mia’s place. And breakfast was amazing. Nadia is a wonderful hosts. Everything is within walking distance (10 minutes from Santa Maria Novella Train Station). We always felt safe even at night.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DECENT REST, A CLEAN ROOM AND WANT A FULL NIGHT SLEEP STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I BELIEVE PEOPLE RATE THIS PLACE BASED ON “THE ATTIC ROOM” AND THE KITCHEN LADY WHO IS ADORABLE, SHE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND HERSELF TO HELP EVERYONE. APART FROM THAT LADY SO MANY WRONG THINGS WITH THIS PLACE I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START. I HAVE BEEN TO FLORENCE A FEW TIMES, FIRST TIME FOR MY 2 KIDS AND MOM. I FELT COMFORTABLE BOOKING THIS PLACE BASED ON REVIEWS AND PICTURES. WELL… SADLY, NOTHING LIKE YOU SEE ON PICTURES OR REVIEWS. THE ROOM 10 IS DEPLORABLE. AC DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, HAIR FROM PREVIOUS GUEST IN THE BEDDING, ROACHES, MOSQUITOS, VERYYYYY NOISY AS THE NEXT ROOM IS LITERALLY NEXT DOOR AND YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING, I MEAN EVERYTHING… TV IS LIKE A COMPUTER MONITOR WITH ONLY ONE CHANNEL, NOT FOR FAMILIES AT ALL. ROOM IS NOT WHAT THE PICTURE SHOWS, WALLS ARE DIRTY, BATHROOM IS OLD, HOLES IN THE WALLS, UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS, HARD PILLOWS, KIDS ARE TREATED AS ADULTS, THE DESCRIPTION SAYS SLEEP 4 (triple room) READ ALL THE INFORMATION THROUGHOUT. WHEN I WROTE THE SITUATION OF THE ROOM TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE ALL I GOT WAS PLAY WITH THE AC REMOTE, YOU GOT WHAT YOU BOOKED, EVERYONE IS HAPPY IM SORRY FOR YOU. THIS IS WORSE THAN MANY HOSTELS.

Incredible stay in the attic room! Cozy and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was lovely. I arrived late but the owners provided me information to get inside, so there were no issues. The location is a little hard to identify from the outside, so you have to pay attention to the little signs on the door. But it was very quiet, which was perfect for me. Stairs only, no elevator. The shower could use a little renovation, since the sliding doors fall off very easily. Biggest recommendation is some kind of non-slip floor in the shower. It's VERY slippery, and the shower is so small that I worried I'd fall into the doors and knock them off! A/C works great.

Nadia is the loveliest. It feels like living at your grandparents. She took care of us and provided great recommendations/tips and tricks about Florence and it’s surroundings. Would definitely book again.

I stayed with my son, twin room in the attic. An unexpected surprise… charming little roof terrace, river view with a distant peek at the duomo through the trees! Lovely. Friendly and informative staff. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. 15-20 mins walk from centre of interest. Parking on street (free on white lines, pay on blue). Would recommend.

Great little hotel at a cozy neighborhood not far from Florence center, lots of local cafes and stores in the vicinity. Special thanks to Nadia who helped with the air conditioner, dinner recommendations and a delicious breakfast every morning. Ciao Nadia!

The staff is amazing! We arrived late due to s last minute travel change, but called the number and had no issues. The woman who cleans and offers breakfast is amazing! There isn't a lot of frills, for for the money this place checked every box. The care from the staff was above and beyond, and the cleanliness was appreciated. The location is great, and a short 10-15 minute walk to city center.

We spent one night to discover Firenze. The check-in was easy over the phone. The room was really comfy and clean for a couple and a young child. The staff was great, the lady taking care of the facilities is a gem. The breakfast is nice. The situation is ideal to visit Firenze walking. We would definitely come back here next time.

Hostess lovely and helpful. Room was clean enough but had two single beds pushed together which wasn’t great. Shower door very hard to open and had a cracked screen. Unfortunately a very noisy area with a lot of traffic and people yelling all through the night. Overpriced for what it is.

Florence was an amazing city. One of our favourite in Italy. The host was very genuine and caring. Any requests wasn't a problem and she cleaned our room everyday and did her up later best to keep us happy. The B&B was a bit of a walk to duomo and Centrale mercato but as a young couple we did not mind and enjoyed the walk as we we astonished by the beautiful view!

Pros: Comfortable and efficient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not elaborate by any means but worthwhile. Rooms are neat and clean. Breakfast is continental but fresh everyday. Cons: no elevators. If on top floor there are a few steps to climb ( but only 3 floors). DB bed is two singles pushed together. By the river so a bit noisy and some mosquitoes but the but repellent in the room works and has no odor at all. Overall a good, inexpensive place to stay on the opposite side of the river from all the tourist traffic. Not far from food and sites to see. I recommend this if you are cost concerned.

The B&B guesthouse was a very convenient and inexpensive place to stay while in Florence. Do not expect anything fancy or modern, none of this, yet the place was quite clean, the room had all necessary amenities required and there were no particular neighbourhood noises being very quiet.There is no lift in this building. Lucia who is the lady taking care of everything in this B&B gives all her efforts in making you feel welcomed and comfortable. There is a very straight forward short walk from the train station as the B&B is on the other side of Florence centre.

We were lucky enough to be put in the Suite which was a lovely room with a balcony. It really was a lovely suite with old world charm however it was cold-they offered many blankets but the room was just so drafty. The bathroom was decent but the shower was very small (but that was ok-just thought we should mention it). The bed was awful, not enough pillows, the mattress was uncomfortable and it was one of those deals where they put two singles together to make a double ---which really should not happen in a suite. Lucia who ran it was lovely and will help you as much as she can but if you speak English that help will be limited to her English- again this is not a complaint from us-but more about what to expect.

B&B Mias place was a great location and walkable to all of the sights. The air conditioning was not very effective and the beds were very hard. The rooms were clean and staff was helpful. The street was so noisy, having the windows open at any time was not an option. I slept with ear plugs and could still hear the traffic the entire night.
