The perfect place to stay if you want to visit Florence :)

The property was lovely and what stood out most was the host, she took such great care of us and had great recommendations. She even took us to a rooftop bar that looked over the whole of Florence. Her kindness truly made our stay in Florence one to remember and I hope we can one day visit again :) the property is located very near to a tram stop which is definitely the way to go travel wise - very cheap and easy to use (the walk was rough) the room also had a shared kitchen which was never busy and it had a large fridge and washing machine and sink perfect for anyone backpacking ! The room was clean and had great air-con which was a life saver ! Honestly the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Florence but want somewhere a bit quieter to escape to in the evenings :)

The shower was slightly awkward to use, if you care about that sort of thing.. (however we didn’t mind) the bathroom is wet room style but was absolutely fine to use and didn’t flood or anything x

Great place to stay in Florence

Great affordable and clean accommodation in Florence. Right next to a tram station so super easy to get into the city, and also many buses go there. Paula was very nice, and gave us some great recommendations for the local area which we loved.

Room is perfect for what you need. Tram stop right outside the door. Beautiful neighbourhood. The host Paula and Luka are amazing and so welcoming, will definitely be returning.

I paid 5-star prices and ended up in a room that made me panic at midnight and search for new hotel

There was unfortunately nothing to like. The room was in an unacceptable condition — dirty, dusty, and with a strong smell of mold and dampness. The bathroom had no curtain or cabin, water would go everywhere. The whole place felt unsafe and unhygienic. I left and booked another accommodation for the same dates.

The room I was given was in truly unacceptable condition. It clearly hadn't been ventilated in a long time — the air was heavy, stale, and filled with a strong musty odor. Dust and dirt from the hallway seemed to have settled inside the room. The floor was sticky and grimy, the furniture was dusty, and the entire space felt damp and unclean. The lighting was very poor, and the room felt dark and depressing. The bathroom was worse: no shower curtain or cabin, so water went everywhere. The sink and toilet were stained and clearly not cleaned. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable — I couldn’t even place my belongings down without hesitation. I contacted the property, and they promised a 50% refund, which was never processed. I felt completely misled. I had to urgently book another hotel for the same dates, which meant double cost and wasted time. Thankfully, Booking.com support was professional and responsive. They did their best to help me, and I truly appreciate that. Unfortunately, the property did not meet the minimum standards I’ve come to expect when booking through this platform.

Good

The host was very kind and helpful, the stuff to use was generally okay considering our short stay. The location is good, you can get by walk to the city centre as well, and it is also close to the bus terminal if you travel via bus between cities. The facilities are well working, there is a shared kitchen with all the necessary items available. The property itself is authentic and has own vibe.

Might be a bit dark if you are searching for a very light place, and if you want a larger space for yourself. But these are still not the things to be so much considerate about.

Convenient location with a very short walk to the train which took you into the historic center of the city. Our hostess was very kind and helpful in arranging parking as well as sharing information about her city.

The location was excellent with amazing transport links. Paola the host was so friendly, also available and responded very quickly. She also sent information on places to eat, events and what to do in the local area. It was such a pleasant and easy experience to stay there. Highly recommended.

The property is very close to the tram station. Although it is a bit far from the city centre, it is easy to get there by tram. The kitchen is pretty handy.

The facilities did not meet the standard. Worst of it is can't use the toilet at all for 2 days. Shower curtains kept sticking to the body once get wet, which made taking shower is a very big challenge. The WIfi never works. We tried to use the wifi in the kitchen, but still kept dropping off. Had to give up and used own mobile data.

Good stay, great host

Paola, the host, is one of the best parts! she was so sweet to take time with us when we arrived and to talk to us about Florence. She had some snacks for us and helped us get a dinner reservation at Trattoria Marione, which was great. It’s also really close to a tram stop which is how we got into the city every day. A/C worked very well.

Perfect

everything was awesome ! Paola is incredibly kind and her family also ! she sent me a lot of good places to have lunch, to have a view on a roof top, to hangout, to live Firenze !!!! The tram is just 1 min by walking from the flat and that’s awesome because in 10/15 min you are directly in the city center ! Notice that you can spend as much as time as you want in the city center and after you can go home with uber for like an average of 20€ on Uber☀️🙏🏻! The price is really affordable and you ll never find someone as kind as Paola anywhere esle in an Hotel ! If you want to go back home from the city center you just have to walk 40/45 min so it’s not that much ! also if you want to go to the East part of Firenze you can just take the bus wich is also at 2 min by walking from the home (what to ask more :) ) I really felt appreciated and Paola and her brother were really kind and opened minded ! So if i have to come back to Firenze I will come back at Paola’s home for SURE ! Thank you Paola☀️

Good for a short stay.

The host was very easy to contact and helpful. She helped us book a taxi for an early morning and made the check in very easy with a video and step by step pictures. She allowed to stay in the kitchen even after check out for a few hours after our flight was delayed. The room itself was perfect for two people. The air conditioning worked great and was a wonderful treat to come home to after a day in the heat.

It is more of a hostel than a hotel. The wifi didn't work in our room so we had to sit in the kitchen to use it. The bathroom was clean but the shower was difficult to navigate without getting everything wet/tangled up in the curtain. Felt a bit overpriced for being so far from the city and not having the kitchen in the room like it is advertised on the listing.

The accommodation was very satisfactory in every way. Only a 2 minute walk to the tram, and a 10-15 minute tram into the centre of Florence. Excellent prices, spacious and comfortable rooms. The host is also very helpful, gives excellent recommendations for Florence and does everything to accommodate your needs.

Stay here! The host is fabulous and attentive!

The host is amazing and responsive. We needed a late check in and she provided a video with instructions on how to get in. She was very responsive along the way and even provided places near the room to dine in a message before we arrived. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Florence.

Paola was extremely nice and informative, and helped us throughout the trip. The location was amazing, and the room was comfortable as well.

There was no shampoo/ conditioner/ body soap (although Paola was kind enough to share her own to me) Wifi was not working.

The best stay-in I’ve had, so far!

Everything was so clean, organized and modern. Amazingly located (1 minute walking to the tram), restaurants and supermarkets really close by. Everyone received us very warmly and had the kind gestures to show us around, giving us loads of directions and suggestions to know. It was my favorite reception and apartment! Thank you so much for everything! Leaving Florence with the expectancy to come again, really soon! Xx

Paola is an amazing host. Extremely attentive and helpful in every way. Smiling and polite, charming lady. The house is cozy and clean, in a very convenient location. Paola gave us a map of Florence and explained everything to us - how to get to the historic city center, where we can shop for food, where we can park our car.
