Room was cleanly, big, and very comfortable. Also furnished in a way that didn't feel sterile. Breakfast is simple, self-serve, but also good value. There's also lots of places around for good food and you can easily commute to city center (or walk if you like longer walks).
I did slip in the shower at one point, ironically because it was so clean. Thankfully no harm done aside from a sore arm and a bump on the side of my head, but they should probably get a floor mat for the shower since the shower head is near the inclined part of the tub meant for your back, meaning you move towards the incline, and if you're covered in soap that's a recipe for a fall.

Reasonably priced compared to most of Florence, this stay was fine for a couple of nights. Good AC in room. Nice to have breakfast provided and the juice/yogurts/fruit was good.
Breakfast cakes/pastries/biscuits were pre-packed food of poor quality.. Room had dead flies on the walls, the shower went from boiling hot to freezing cold every few minutes, and the room was very light in the morning despite the shutters and curtains. Had to arrange a time to arrive with host and meet them there - a lockbox would be better! Also the ability to pay online/by card would be good. My bed was also very uncomfortable, the pillows were very hard.
