Very useful, spotlessly clean fridge and microwave in the room. The location is near to the major road network, making it an easy stopover hotel.
The car park is small.

The updated rooms are a big improvement, now with a microwave and fridge and new beds and decor. Restaurants nearby.

It was cheap
We were given two different room keys but it turned out we only had one room. My friend dropped his bags in “his” room then we came back an hour or so later and the key didn’t work. Turned out there was another couple staying in that room and we needed to ask them nicely to get access for the bag and passport that had been stashed under the bed. A fun time had by all but if we’d found viable pints nearby it could have been a total shitshow.

it’s a quiet location and really handy for rejoining the motorway south
the room was clean
the reception staff are friendly
there’s plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets
the room had its own fridge and microwave
no vending machines so would need to bring your own drinks and snacks
could have done with at least a plastic cup in the room
the car park is very tight
