Perfect hotel for exploring Boulogne-sur-mer and just 30 minutes from the Eurotunnel.

Perfect location to explore the old town. Secure parking and pet friendly. Nice breakfast bar which becomes a bar later in the day with an extensive pizza menu.

Visited this hotel3 or 4 times. The location was superb & view of the Cathedral at night is stunning.

Great location with clean and comfortable rooms.

Great location in the upper town close to the beautiful war memorial and basilica and within a 15-20 minute walk of the waterfront. Wide choice of restaurants nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was lovely with plenty of fresh French bread and pastries, cheeses and meats. They offer overnight, open air parking for 10 Euros per night but there is plenty of free on-street parking also. Great value for money.

The room amenities were basic but perfectly sufficient for an overnight stay.

A good mid-budget hotel in a fabulous location.

We loved the location of the hotel, which was just on the edge of the old town with a view of the city walls. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. Parking nearby was easy. It was a good central base for our time in Boulogne.

Great stay

The room was clean and of a good size and the location was great. Check in was quick and easy. There was no milk for the tea and coffee in the room but the staff member sorted this without issue and gave us a jug of milk

Breakfast was a little chaotic and busy, might have been better to give time slots to avoid lots of people appearing at the same time.

It was well located for our purposes of visiting family. It's a budget hotel, and we knew that we were getting value for money as all we needed was a secure car park, and a bed for the night. The choice at breakfast was good, so all in all, it served it's purpose.

I stay in many hotels and have been here about 15-20 times. and nearly every time I make a comment on how to improve. Please remove that silly pouffe and put in a rectangular table. The oval one is useless and the pouffe has no function. The rooms are very small and you are not using the space in a logical way. The “new” breakfast room is too small.

Character property by the cathedral with friendly staff

The staff were really helpful and location is superb. This is a character property with small rooms, but comfy. It is different with a bar and pavement tables. The breakfast was an added bonus. Off street parking is 10€ and secure, but plenty of free over the road depending on the day/time.

A wonderful end to a wonderful holiday

We were given a room for a disabled person which we were not expecting however we actually needed it as I was having difficulty walking. The room was very large with a sitting and dining area as well as a fridge and stove top. Breakfast was included and was exceptional given that we had paid 10 euros the day before for a far inferior breakfast. We have stayed here many times before and always enjoyed it. So handy for the old quarter.

Good, convenient place to stay, but some glitches, making it not very disability-friendly

Very comfortable bed; pleasant view of the cathedral from the window. Good breakfast (if a little haphazardly organised); simple room to navigate for a blind person; good parking space close to the hotel outside the city walls.

No tea-making facilities (there were last time we were here about 5 years ago); liquid soap (a pet hate - I loathe the texture, and it was virtually impossible for a blind person to use without my help). Why no plug? This arrangement is incredibly wasteful of water when washing, and again, my blind husband found it extremely difficult to manage. Nul points for this. Please remember that 'disabled' does not equal 'wheelchair user'; wheelchair-users require a lot of space, blind people are totally disorientated by it, which is why we do not ask for dedicated 'disabled' rooms when booking. However, tight arrangements that can lead to blind people banging their heads when getting up from the toilet seat, and soap dispensers which they cannot locate, let alone grip and use, are not helpful.

Pleasant stay although it felt a little dated. Great staff and good breakfast.

The staff were all very friendly. The location was spot on for the old town. Good free continental breakfast with a decent range of things to eat. The price was very reasonable and the room was clean.

The lift is very slow. The room we had was very small and an odd shape. There were not many plug sockets and they were not well positioned. The parking was quite pricey when there is ample free parking all around the hotel.

Excellent location, dog friendly hotel

Ideal location with off street parking (10 euros extra) Dog friendly. Room was on the small side but you get what you pay for. Comfy bed with clean white bedding. Excellent breakfast included in the price.

Location to local bars and restaurants was fantastic. Hotel was very clean and had a refurb since our last visit. Only issue was water flooded under shower door. Nothing we could do. Made mat etc very wet.
