A charming, peaceful stay — beautifully decorated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were quaint, beautifully presented, and tastefully decorated — every detail felt thoughtful and homely. The lovely scent of the soap and the overall cleanliness made the space feel fresh and welcoming. The breakfast tray delivered in the morning was such a charming touch — beautifully arranged and full of delicious, high-quality items to start the day off right. The location itself is stunning, set in a peaceful part of Boulogne-sur-Mer. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we left feeling relaxed and well looked after. All in all, a brilliant stay — stylish, comfortable, and full of small touches that make a big difference. Highly recommended!

Parking in the city can be a little tight at times, but there are plenty of spaces around if you don’t mind a short walk (2mins) or if you’re lucky a free space out the front — it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay.

Beautiful setting but facilities/breakfast need more attention

Location - right in the historic center in a beautiful converted mansion. Spacious beautifully decorated rooms. Floor heating in a beautiful bathroom. Perfect setup for a romantic stay/photoshoot

Coffee machine did not work and we only discovered in the morning at breakfast. As there is no staff at the property, we had no one to speak to. Yes of course you can call the number but we knew it’d probably take them 30-60 min to react and it would not matter any more for our breakfast. Breakfast is also rather meager considering the price of the accomodation. The fact that it was served in the room was ok though, there’s plenty of space. Also pleas bring extra tea with breakfast, not everyone drinks coffee (and considering coffee machine was broken anyway), so we had absolutelu no other option for breakfast. Very difficult to park on the street, we had an SUV and it’s not for the faint hearted to drive there. Street parking is also quite far from the hotel (could be an issue for senior/people with pramchairs)

Lovely stay in historic part of town

The rooms were really clean and well presented. The breakfast was also lovely and a lot of effort had gone in to making it dairy free for me. Location was truly excellent!!

Some of the other guests were very noisy in the evening although did settle before midnight - due to being an old property they were easier to hear than otherwise might have been!

Convenient stay

The property is very well placed - just a few minutes walk from the centre of the walled town. It is clean and comfortable and with it's gated entrance, we felt safe. The breakfast was fabulous and plentiful and it delivered to your door each morning.

There is no TV but that did not bother us too much. The beds are comfortable but on the small side. We had a little issue trying to gain access through the courtyard door as it would not release once the key code was inserted but a phone call to the host sorted it out. Our call was answered quickly and with good customer service - don't email if you have a problem.

Great location! Feels like French in France!

The place is centrally located inside the Old city walls. There is parking outside on the street but for rather small cars. We parked on public parking. Easy to walk but needed to pay. Breakfest was superb.

The location was fab. Was very impressed with the room and the bathroom. Thebes was great. The kitchenette was cute. The breakfast was great, really nicely done.

The curtains didn’t fit properly so quite a lot of light came into the room. Not a problem for most but we like our bedroom dark. The kettle leaked all over the worktop and the floor.

This is a beautiful old house and we had a room and sitting room. We never actually saw any staff/owners as there is a code to enter and the lovely breakfast just appeared outside the door.

Cosy and comfy stay in secure area right next to basilica

Homely feel which made a nice change from soulless hotels. Good location although parking in the narrow street may be an issue. Beautiful view of the basilica. Gated access makes it feel safe. Quiet area.

Not so much a didn’t like but would benefit from a hand held shower attachment and a fan when it’s hot! Also some fresh milk would be nice on arrival.

Superb

Classic old French large property tastefully decorated and modernised. Spacious bedroom and great kitchenette in the Linton Suite. Superb breakfast delivered to your door. Located in the heart of the old walled city, no parking but fairly easy on street parking if your car is not too big.

Only little things - perhaps some milk in the kitchenette? Only small towels. 2 hand and 2 bath sheets should be a minimum. Top window nearest entrance, open/close mechanism needs repair

Lovely hotel

Here are the top three things we liked: 1. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. 2. The hotel is at the center of the old city so very close to all the main attractions 3. The breakfast was simple but exactly what we needed. The croissants were the best we ever tasted, and the bread was fresh.

Here are things that could have been better: 1. We were given the wrong room by mistake and felt the manager could have handled the communication better. 2. The pillows were too soft to our liking, but totally not a big deal.

Excellent quiet stay in a beautifully finished suite.

Location excellent for the old town of Boulonge-Sur-Mer. Very quiet courtyard leads to an exceptional room. All appeared clean and excellently fitted out.

Not very much really, fridge in the room could have been quieter (if I was to be really picky). Maybe on the pricey side considering lack of any hotel features.

Don’t stay here

The bed was soft but comfortable, and the shower was good close to restaurants

Curtains that didn’t fit, gaps under the doors, no one to greet you when you arrive, no tea towel in kitchen, no washing up liquid, the sitting area is just a put you up bed, the parking is not secure, no city view, 35 minute walk to aquarium and the front via a very steep hill, choice of who has croissant this morning as only one croissant and one pain au chocolate two small pieces of bread only plain yogurt honey or jam of their choice mouldy fruit 2 slices of dry ham and two packs of their choice of cheese, and their choice of milk for cereal which is many different types of cereal in one jar ie cornflakes museli honey nut clusters etc also the cooker was broken and dirty !!!!!!!! Also on the breakfast tray were two boiled eggs no ordinary bread to toast for the eggs So to sum up one or two maybe even three of the reasons listed above you can over look but all put together with shutters that only cover bottom two thirds of the windows and being able to see into all other rooms as they can yours it really is a place I would avoid

problems gaining entry smells like something has died in courtyard cold when we arrived and fire does not work bath needs repair …. toilet seat needs refitting and had an unpleasant smell very poor breakfast: tiny portion of fruit to share, undercooked croissants, uht milk and juice!!! broken electrical adapter on kettle/ coffee maker coffee machine produced lukewarm liquid which didn’t resemble coffee only 2 teabags available when we arrived? no robes this accommodation is too expensive and a very disappointing last night on our stay in France.

Very nice accommodation with quality furnishings, comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom. We were upgraded on arrival to a suite which was really comfortable with a lounge area. The breakfast tray was fantastic, fresh warm bread, fruit, croissants, egg, yoghurt etc beautifully presented and quality products. We were welcomed by a lovely lady who was very helpful. Great choice of restaurants nearby.

We have a large, long car and it was tricky to park in a narrow street, there was free parking close by though. Everything else was perfect.

Quality, luxurious and a very pleasant stay.

Amazing place, set in a courtyard with your own entrance, the suite was stunning, clean and lush, very stylish with lovely touches, quality coffee facilities, biscuits and chocs and yummy products in the bathroom, which had underfloor heating and luxurious towels. Nice comfy bed, and a spacious sitting room. Parking in carpark a few mins away from property (on the right just before the archway towards the property at the cathedral) moments walk away from cafes, bars and restaurants, but nicely set back down a cobbled road so quiet. Self check in, we were sent very clear and informative details. We did meet the hosts, very nice and welcoming. Breakfast left outside your room, beautifully presented and good quality and choice. The stay was extremely pleasant and felt rather luxurious.
