Lovely overnight stay

Comfortable, lovely chateau

Beautiful home in a quaint setting. Furnishings were lovely and perfectly in keeping with the chateau. Room was large and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous and tasty.

Wonderful short break at this lovely property with wonderful hosts

A truly beautiful property with wonderful rooms and fabulous hosts. Breakfast was superb with a wide selection of choose from and local house specialities. Conveniently located for the A16 and Boulogne, but very quiet. Some superb restaurants a short drive away.

Beautiful Chateau in serene location

Beautiful chateau in lovely ground, just a few min drive from Wimereux where we had an excellent meal at the Atlantic restaurant who was recommended buy Guy the chateau owner, we had a great breakfast cooked by his wife Catherine, the chateau is very tranquil and perfect for an overnight stop or to explore the cote d’Opal

Disappointed and poor value for money. Overrated glorified B&B would not pay more than 120.

Location was handy for stopover back to UK - only good point.

Value for money v expectations. Being asked to pay 5euro extra for an omelette at breakfast after paying 240euro for one night was disgraceful. Breakfast very poor - worst coffee in whole for French trip.

Gorgeous if you’re happy with a B&b. Not hotel service.

It’s a beautiful house. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It’s peaceful and quiet. Good breakfast. Safe parking.

They were very bad at answering messages so don’t book if you have any questions at all! They don’t serve any drinks or food except for breakfast and it’s a drive to the nearest restaurants. Getting out of the driveway safely is a bit treacherous - they could use a mirror to help see oncoming traffic.

Disappointing experience at a beautiful chateau.

A beautiful building, in nice garden, at a great location. Interior, including room, decorated with a lot of taste.

We went with high expectations but were very disappointed. Arrived at the check-in time of 17.00 pm, nobody was present. Called the owner, who gave the code of entering the gate; he arrived 1/2 hour later (no apology). We used the terrace outside the hotel, its chairs being full with spiderwebs. Sink in the washtub was blocked - needed an hour to unlock it. Shower has several mold spots. TV did not function. When alerting (at 9.45 pm) the owner - who was not in the building -, he apparently was not willing to solve the problem; he offered us to leave the accommodation. The breakfast is included in the price of the room (which is expensive but justified); however, in order to have some extras such as an omelette, cheese or charcuterie, extra payment is requested. Very unusual for an accommodation of this standing. Overall a disappoint experience. A real pity, because we had been looking forwards so much staying at this beautiful chateau.

A beautiful place. Near to Calais. It’s basically a grand b and b. Wifi is great and private parking

No bar or restaurant but in fairness we did not read the details properly - so our fault. Nothing to dislike and they let us have a picnic in their lovely garden.

Beautiful Château

We had a nice big room with a balcony. Unfortunately we could not really use it because it was rainy and a bit cold. The room itself was very clean and well organized. Guy and Catherine are very friendly and helpful people. Breakfast was excellent and there are more options available.

We could not have dinner at this lovely Chateau. But Guy gave us a list with several restaurants in the area where we could eat.

Probably the best B and B we've ever been too. Yes, it is that good!!!

Everything went well. Guy and his wife are lovely: they make you feel right at home and there's is a calm, tranquil home. Beautifully furnished, warm, and peaceful It is perfect and we're going back again later in the summer.

Property decor was immaculate, slightly disappointing that the web page says there was an evening meal but no such thing. The hotel signage says tablet d’hote, when inquired this is not available.

An Absolute Gem

Beautiful chateau set in lovely gardens with a view of the sea. Good location with pretty seaside towns nearby. Excellent room with very comfortable bed and good shower room with plenty of instant hot water. Superb breakfast. Guy and his lovely wife were perfect hosts, so kind and helpful, giving us tips for great restaurants and places to visit locally. This is our second stay and we will definitely return.

A piece of french luxury in the country !

Everything was amazing from the start until the end. We were fortunate that the property wasnt busy before our arrival so we were able to check in early. Which was amazing due to our overnight ferry journey. We were given a tour of the property but after a hectic xmas we simply wanted to enjoy the room and premises. The rooms were extremely spacious and well appointed with coffee and Tv facilities. Heated towel rails were one of the best additions given it was the middle of winter. We loved exploring the area with the thought of having our own little chateau to come back to. We were lucky enough one night that the fire was roaring in the quiet room which we got to enjoy with a drink and some chess. It was always a delight coming down to breakfast every morning in what can only be described as five star dining with home cooked omlettes, freshly pressed orange juice and croissants !!
