2nd time we stayed here - would stay for a 3rd, 4th etc..... Brilliant

This was the second time we have booked for this room, it is so good. Super comfy, amazing location. The host was in touch at all times checking we were ok, checked in ok, etc..... Having the area downstairs as well is a mega bonus.

Parking could be an issue if busy, took us a couple of attempts to find a spot. Stairs to the room are difficult if you have mobility issues.

Bilbao is a fun, easy city to visit and this centrally-located apartment makes it feel even easier.

Great location, and especially appreciated the local restaurants and bars (a shout out to Bar Lisky and Bar Plata nearby). The area felt safe (women travellers): street was fairly quiet though lots of people about in the evenings, lots of families and children on the side streets - we enjoyed the people-watching. Just a few blocks to catch the bus to airport, and easy to navigate to train stations etc.

The electric hob did our head in - may have just been us, but it wouldn't have worked to cook a meal (luckily eating out is extremely affordable).

It is as attractive as it looks.

Terrific location, surrounded by plenty of choices for food. Located right next to a car park which if you are driving is handy but I strongly suspect is almost impossible to get into in summer. One tip is that when you get to the T junction with the car park to your left there is a "must turn right" sign, but if you are careful you can turn left to get to it, just make sure nothing is coming as it is a single track. There is a paid for car park you drive past to get to it so can go back to that if necessary. There are 2 charging ports on a single post but both not working on our visit.

Very little. I was surprised we were provided with cushions rather than proper pillows. Anyone with restricted mobility or has a very heavy case, will struggle at the very tight curving stairs to the two rooms. I wasn't impressed that we had to ring to get the code for the door, this should be provided on the day via text or Booking.Com message. If the Host hadn't been available we would have been stuck.

Ideal for the inner walled area of Boulogne. Clean. Easy access. Good contact by staff via text giving instructions. Public street parking so had to find a space.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms, lovely decor and so comfortable.

Amazing position within the centre with great views of all the beautiful buildings with all the superb bars and restaurants on the door step.

The stairs a quite steep to each floor, could maybe do with a rope or handrail to assist.

Perfect stay in the historical heart of the city

Very nice loft in the historical centre of the city. Communication with Corinne was excellent! We were allowed earlier in the room, which she let us know with a personal message. The instructions to get in the apartment were very clear. The apartment is nicely decorated. It’s on the third floor and there was no elevator, so beware of this of you aren’t very mobile. The bathtowels were soft and smelled clean. We didn’t hear any noise from the neighbours.

There’s no airconditioning, which resulted in a very warm room because it’s located on the third floor. But after we opened all the windows, it cooled down pretty quickly!

Beautiful room, accommodating host

Corinne’s communication was exceptional, we were arriving off the train and Corinne had the room ready for us 2 hours earlier than check in (very much appreciated after our early morning Eurostar). The room was spotless and nicely decorated, comfy bed and soft sheets. Nice communal kitchen and dining area too if you want to make your own lunch. Location was perfect right in the centre of the old town.

Great property in a lovely location.

Excellent location with free parking outside. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Quirky and pretty property - all very tastefully decorated. Perfect as a bolthole for a short stay on our way back to Le Shuttle.

wonderfully situated in old Boulogne-Sur-Mer, a thorough enjoyable stay in this beautifully renovated residence. Our room was fabulous. thank you Corinne for making our stay thoroughly enjoyable, also a big thank you to the gentleman who met us at the residence and offered his expert advice on places to visit, directions and where to eat. good choice of restaurants nearby and places to take breakfast Car parking available practically outside. very happy to recommend this accommodation, great location for taking in the beauty of this historic town

Great location, very pretty clean room. Access to a kitchen downstairs which was great and we didn’t realise this would be available. Felt very safe. Nice bathroom. Lots of free parking nearby.

Great location in the heart of Boulogne Old Town with free parking right in front of the hotel. Very comfortable and cosy room with excellent wi-fi.

Very clean & newly decorated with lovely touches around the room and on the walls. Our room had a lovely view over the main square. Easy to adjust heating. Tea in the room.

Perfect location in a quality, historical property

The location in the old city wall is excellent, it has a very different feeling to the town outside the wall and there's bars and restaurants in a less than 5 minute walk. We had rooms 1 and 2, both were very spacious with a large double bed, way bigger than a standard hotel room. The breakfast was delicious too with croissants, bread, spreads, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice etc. The bathroom was modern and clean, with strong water pressure. I very much appreciated the heated towel rail which are common in every UK house but not a global thing, but it warmed the bathroom in a cold November very nicely!

Not a dislike - but if you have any mobility issues, the stairs will be an issue. It's a historical property so not built to modern specs - the stairs are narrow, uneven and twisty. This was no issue for us but if you've got bulky suitcases or mobility issues, you need to take it slow. I can also imagine the stairs being an issue for anyone who has a few vinos as well of an evening.... Also another potential issue some might have a problem with (we didn't) - again it's an old building so there is noise between the rooms. You can hear People walking around above quite clearly, as well as mummerings of people talking. That's the nature of beautiful hotels like this, so if you're a light sleeper or are someone who wants to do a 60 minute HIT workout at 7am in your room.... maybe find a generic non descript new build hotel outside the old town. It's an old, historical property, so don't book and expect everything to be up to modern building expectations!

Great place for a visit to Boulogne.

Breakfast was excellent. Corinne was responsive and helpful. The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable too. Parking available just outside (and free too!). Location central and very convenient for the old town, very close to the restaurant area.

A few more plug sockets would have been useful.

The best place we have visited in our trip in France. Corine was super, she helped us a lot with our doubts about where to go in Boulogne. The breakfast was superb. Location was perfect, just next to the Beffroi.

Stairs are very narrow (and no lift). It was not an issue for us but would be an issue if you had heavy luggage or difficulty climbing stairs

There was no parking at the hotel, according to me "free parking" means that there actually is a parking but there wasn't. We had to park in the streets and some of them are free, but as we didn't know the place, we parked quite far from the hotel after getting lost in the narrow streets.

Charming and cozy B&B located in an area with great bars and restaurants.

Breakfast was delicious, with an assorted variety of bread, cheese from the region, fruit salad, and a choice of warm beverages (coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino). The perfect way to start the day. The accommodations were comfortable and the location was perfect, near an area filled with great restaurants and bars. And the hosts were superb, very nice, attentive, and always providing good tips for things to do around the city. I would definitely come back!
