Always a great choice for a stay in Boulogne.

We stay here quite regularly and like the fact that the same staff are usually working on reception, they are always welcoming and helpful. The beds are large and super comfortable and the showers are also great. It's very convenient to have the bar on site, great to be able to relax with a drink after a long journey.

It would be nice to have some slightly larger towels available.

Location excellent. Staff extremely welcoming with Raphael and Stefanie outstanding. The bar was very convenient and comfortable and ideal for a nightcap. Good for parking. Probably the best B&B we have stayed at.

Absolutely perfect for a one night stay

Stated restaurant open 7-10pm but full menu not available, only one plug socket in room, which wasn’t near a mirror to be able to see when styling hair, only one bath towel/hand towel for 2 guests left in the room

Overnight on way South West

The breakfast staff are always extra friendly, didn’t like the beer in the bar, 1664 has gone, strange strong beer in its place, not as refreshing as 1664. Still odd decorations in bar gives you a headache if you look too much, bar had more customers when decorations were more quiet.

Just the beer and the sitting area, “noisy” decoration destroys the restful feeling after a long day driving. Don’t leave “ children” in charge of bars and beers, people need a rest at the end of a busy day.

The staff and location are amazing at this hotel. We have stayed here many times.

Don’t like the fact that you can’t use the lift on a night time because it’s part of the shopping centre it gets closed so you have to drag your luggage upstairs.

Definitely choose this place if you want a known quantity. Basic, clean, good breakfast.

The rooms are typical Ibis - functional, clean, basic. The staff were nice and friendly, and the breakfast was great.

The rooms are really just way too small, even for an Ibis Budget hotel. You literally cannot spend any time in there for anything apart from sleeping. Also, the rooms are likely due for an update because our room looked and felt like it was from the 1990s! We felt it was rather expensive for what it was.

Location to visit the Nausicaa aquarium was very good, walking distance. The reception is very polite. Easy to park car in the underground garage. Super market just a few footsteps away.

Restaurant had sitcom TV loud in the restaurant, TV sport in thr bar, and music all playing at the same time. Staff just wanted to laugh together - no customer awareness. Poor food.

Stay was OK , but we did have to change rooms as noise from the aircon pipes on outside wall very n.

Location of hotel and reception staff very helpful.

A little run down and dogs were allowed in the hotel and were in the bar and restaurant , not very hygienic.

Aircon didn’t work and Lift was broken. Menu very poor. We usually stay in the styles hotel were the bar is better and breakfast nicer. We paid extra for breakfast but it wasn’t worth it.

Looks like this hotel should be pulled down , very tatty , metal barriers and weeds everywhere

The breakfast was the best part of the stay , honestly , the whole place looked as if were falling down , didn’t sleep a wink ! Because of too much light coming through window area , badly fitting wooden panel ( of some sort above window ) everything was rather tatty .

The staff were so helpful. Nice relaxing view over the river.

If I had to mention something it would have to be the pillows, far too soft, even using the spare one didn't help. Still slept well.

Comfortable and convenient for LeShuttle

We liked the bar and games area. We had good fun on the pinball machine! The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. Very convenient for LeShuttle.

The rooms didn’t have tea and coffee making facilities or phones. The lift wasn’t working. We were informed of this but not before I’d booked and paid for the accommodation.

No great views or location but central and functional. booked Twin room 20 mins before arrival. on arrival none available but staff gave us two single rooms (with double bed in each) for no extra fee. very helpful staff.
