Perfect overnight stop following a late channel crossing

Easy access after hours, plenty of parking, lovely warm room. What more could you want for €50! The bed was really comfortable and the shower hot with plenty of pressure. We slept really well and the room was very clean too. Would definitely stay here again!

Cleaners should be aware of checkout time!!!

Ease of check in was great using machine

Cleaners kept knocking on door before and hanging around outside room before checkout. Checkout was at 11am and the cleaner knocked at 9am then 10am to try and clean our room, we were only staying 1 night having just travelled up from Disney so we're looking forward to the lay in but they tried to enter at 9am then hovered around until we left knocking again at 10 knowing we were still in the room. Then we're talking loudly outside the room which made us uncomfortable and got unpleasant looks when leaving. When we finally did leave the cleaners had left thier hoover and other equipment in the loft meaning we all couldn't fit which was also annoying.

The room was cold, there was no heating. The controls on the unit didn’t work - this is common now as heating in a lot of hotels is centrally controlled, but no heat in the room in late October is a bit Spartan for me. The bed duvets are far too hot, but that problem is now in every hotel, at least this time with no heating the room I found sheltering under the duvet welcome.

Good location with a nice Italian restaurant within walking distance (cut through at back of hotel)

Pretty ropey & basic. Was very full but seemed mainly workmen. Looked like a prison with metal grills to the outer balcony areas outside rooms. Breakfast was dreadful. Poor quality of food & limited choice, personally wouldn’t stay at a B & B hotel again albeit it was cheap.

Fabulous end to our visit.

The couple that ran the place we fabulous, so much and so accommodating, especially with the ice for our sangria 😉 the rooms were compact but we built for purpose, my darter enjoyed her mezzanine privacy. The breakfast was delicious.

Terrible. Avoid at all costs

Location was fine for what we needed, close to routes in and out. The reception team in the morning were helpful.

TERRIBLE staff when checking in. Made us pay twice to get the room as they didn’t believe we had paid via booking.com. The bed was uncomfortable, no aircon, dirty and shower was awful. I’ve stayed in budget hotels across France and this was one of the worst, which wasn’t expected given the price.

A very good hotel which was in a great location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and they also offer a packed lunch. The car park was secure and the location was very good with lots of restaurants near by.

Our twin room was a little small with not much room to pass by the bottom of the bed to reach the bathroom.

Small but great location for a night before travelling on tunnel.

Great value for money and only 30 minutes from tunnel. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and perfect for a night inter before going through to uk. Bathroom was ok with shower/hair gel. Air con in room and no noise so good night sleep. Food and breakfast available at the hotel if needed but it is a walking distance, 5 min from Buffalo grill and McD as well as big shops where you can buy all sorts, including food. Wifi worked, managed to watch a film on our tablet.

Not value for money

Not a bad base for visiting boulogne and surrounding areas

No staff on arrival. Partner finally found someone and when they were told we dont speak French got eye rolled. Not professional in my opinion. When booking not told its 2euros to actually get your room code. Money not the issue just the hidden principle. Breakfast isn't included costs a extra 4euros per person. Same issue not the money side. Room very small and bed lays on a base board which creaked at every movement. Tv couldn't be changed to English. Overall the French people were rude everywhere you went. Not what we expected

Great budget hotel in good location for passing through, shame room smelled so much of smoking.

Great location and easy to check in.

The room was basic (but expected), but really smelled of cigarettes. So much so I felt ill and couldn’t sleep. The smell was so strong that clearly the no smoking policy wasn’t being adhered to, such a shame.

Unusual layout more like an American motel where the bedroom door os straight out onto the car park. It felt a little insecure with a. Very basic lock on the door. Would not stay again.

Shabby, grotty hotel, don’t stay here!

We have stayed in a B&B hotel before and it was lovely, this one was awful!!! Hotel is tired and very shabby, our family room suitable for 4 was tiny! No tea/coffee/water no hairdryer, only 1 pillow each, dirty flooring/carpets, broken bathroom handle so you could open the bathroom door from the inside! Really grotty!

The beds were so comfy! The room was so well laid out! We travelled as a family from the tunnel, it was so easy to get to and after a long drive from Wales checking in was a breeze! We stayed there on our way home too and had the exact same level of comfort, friendly staff and cleanliness! Well exceeded our expectations for being our rest gap of travelling! would defiantly recommend!

Functional overnight stop.

OK as an overnight stop but don't expect luxury! The rroms are no longer as shiny as in the advertised photos -- they have seen some use and are slightly tired round the edges. Eg. grouting of shower tiles showing some mould. Location convenient for A16 motorway.

It needs some refurbishment and a new coat of paint everywhere.

An easy and functional stay to break a journey.

Convenience for motorway and channel tunnel (20 mins), and a choice of places to eat within 5 min walk. Excellent breakfast (€8.50) and €6 the dog. What’s not to like😀

Automated check in at the door to reception can be quite confusing. It caused quite a long queue and each took a long time.

Clean, convenient and functional for a one-night stay

Location was pretty good. It's right next to a restaurant area, so whilst there is nothing at the hotel, you have McDonalds only 50mts away, plus many more to choose from. The rooms are a fair size - not too small, but with dogs (as we had) it can get a little cramped. But overall, clean and comfortable which is all we needed for a stopover before driving the short distance to the Eurotunnel
