Hotel Diana was an amazing find right in the center of Lucca very near the piazza for Lucca Summer Festival. The room we had was recently renovated and very spacious and well designed. The bathroom had one of the nicest and largest showers I have ever seen.

Great place to stay inside the walls at Lucca. This is inside of the ZTL parking was not included if you booked through hotels.com. €20 per night. Breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth it.

Highly recommend this hotel! A sweet small boutique hotel on a quiet street. Staff was so welcoming! Fabrizio was kind to listen to me struggle through my little bit of Italian I know. We stayed in the Hotel Diana annex (Rm #40) and it was VERY nice. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. You can't ask for more.

The hotel has a lot of charm. It is close to many visitor attractions in a quiet side street. It relates back to it's foundation as a hotel in the 1950s with atractive travel posters.the rooms are spacious with modern shower room and toilets. Ther is adequate storage for a short stay and a large comfortable bed. The reception is in another building one street away which is of historical significance to lovers of classical guitar and cello music. It is where Luigi Boccerini lived and worked.

The Hotel Diana, is a clean, no thrills but lovely hotel. The staff are so accommodating and helpful! I often stay here as it's right next to the Duomo San Martino and so close to everything. the rooms are quite quirky with various colours which adds to the experience.

This is a very nice property in an excellent location, close to the train station. Our room was a 2 room suite which also had a twin hide-a-bed hassett. The €10 breakfast was a bargain. I have certainly stayed in my fair share of hotels, this is a first class hotel.

I stayed in the ground floor room which does mean you can here the late night revellers briefly walking back as they passes by from the square. I would recommend a stay but have an upper floor room. The wonderful receptionist kept in touch as I arrived late and was really friendly and courteous, even smiling as she walked to show me where to park, even though it was pouring with rain. Great service and spotlessly clean accommodation.

The property was exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely stay again. It was central, 10 mins from the train station, you walk through the wall to get to the hotel and its within the heart of the walled city, absolutely perfect. Everywhere is "just round a corner" - you'll understand when you stay here. I was travelling alone and felt totally safe and at ease walking through the lovely cobbled alleyways of Lucca any time of the day. Remember to check in at neighbouring hotel Martino, about 50 metres away. This is clearly confirmed on your booking. Clean, large and had exactly what I personally needed. Some may need a kettle etc however I looked forward to this at breakfast or within Lucca town itself; who wants instant coffee anyway :) Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Breakfast was quaint and perfectly continental. I needed this break and the hotel and Lucca delivered this for me. I'm truly satisfied and even miss speaking to the fish on the entrance. Until next time :)
