Great location and very comfortable!

Excellent location! The top floor “attic” unit was great! It was very spacious and had all the essentials in the kitchenette. We loved it!

A lot of character and wonderful central area.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They helped to carry our luggage upstairs and downstairs again the next day.

Unfortunately there is no A/C in the room so we had to open the window during the night as it was very hot. There were very loud drunk people downstairs outside the window who made a lot of noise. I know this is not the fault of the property. Also there is a lot of stairs to the reception!!

A good two days in Lucca on a comfy bed

Very centrally located, though it is slightly hidden if you try to find it on the map. You have to take a small alleyway and then turn left - it'll be the very last door at the end. Lucca is a small place, so this was a perfect place to be. Loads of shops, cafes basically 2 minutes away from our door.

As some people have mentioned already, the stairs may be a bit of mission for some people to go up and down, especially if you have big luggage (we didn't). But contrary to what someone said, there is a small landing after the first set in case you need to catch your breath. :-)

Location excellent. Room ok but no Aircon (38° temps)and WiFi code incorrect on all literature. Stumbled across a leaflet in the unmanned reception area on day of departure (only 1 nt stay).

It was a lovely second stop along my walk on the Via Francigena (starting in Lucca). The owner was so kind! There’s an espresso machine and packaged croissants and biscuits for early morning check-outs.

Exceptional

Paolo was the perfect host! So friendly, he carried my enormous and heavy suitcase up the stairs and back down again when it was time to go. Offered lots of advice on what to do/see. The room was just what I needed, clean and had good fan to keep me cool at night. Was also in a great location. Very happy with my stay here.

Lucca is lovely

It’s located off a hidden little courtyard near a very pretty piazza with large sycamores and good cafes.

I liked having the kitchen but it could have been better equipped for actual cooking. I would like the owner to look at what is there and see if they could cook a meal there. I suspect the answer is no. So that tells me they are not that concerned with my experience in the kitchen.

Spacious, Air-conditioned Accommodation

Tucked in a quiet courtyard in the heart of the old city, this accommodation was spacious and a cool retreat from the hot Italian summer. The host was friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The full refrigerator was appreciated and kept our supplies cold in the hot summer.

The kitchen lacked many basic items including cups, corkscrew, wine glasses, and gas stove striker. Our host provided these items immediately upon our request. The ceiling sloped and in many cases was too low. This was a problem in the bathroom. Also there were nearly 50 stairs to climb to get to the apartment.
