Difficult parking

Very unique aesthetic experience - old building with fun decorations and functioning bathtub in the bedroom. location is very central and convenient. room has everything g you need. Host helpful and responsive (we also got lucky to meet their cute dog). Check in per alignment with the host also worked very well!

Rooms located in half-basement, so windows are on top and street is busy enough to see passerby’s legs - i’d say it’s part of the charm though :) Reception is open on demand - it is very easy to align with the host but, for instance, it is more complex to leave your bags for a bit if your flight is much later than check in time.

Very charming rooms that accommodated our large party. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Location was excellent, close to shopping and dining. Check in was easy.

We had to park outside the walls and walk in.

They are 0 accommodating. I arrived to Lucca earlier than the check in (which was at 3pm) and there was no one at the property and didn’t want to come in to check in earlier or keep my luggage at reception. I had to wait and put my luggage in storage. Check in was only from 3 to 7pm. We ended up being 2 so we paid extra (which is fine) i asked for 2 bottles of water and they never brought it to us ( he said he was going he never did and the next morning when i asked, he said in the afternoon at 3pm knowing we were leaving at 12pm…) When we checked out we asked if we can keep the luggage at the property/ reception since our flight was at night again they couldn’t accommodate… for a hotel / B&B this is the bare minimum we ended up walking in Lucca with our luggage before our flight
