Great for discovering the city , lovely walk around city wall from stazione Comfortable, even though it was shared bathroom it worked fine Warm and comfortable, with good breakfast

The room was clean. They were kind to keep my luggage after a few hours.

Super noicy, I use my earplugs and I had to put music aswell. Smells like an old building with cheap cleaning products when you come in, the carpet doesn't help.

Was nice but could be better.

It´s close to a supermarket (lidl), restaurants and the historic center. The room was exceptional cleaned. Free parking. Has time to check-in, but we warned the reception we would arrive some minutes after and they waited for us.

Has time to check-in. In heat weather the air conditioner is not enough. At the end (9:40am) was raining and we´re waiting a little to take our car, but the lady was claming that we must get out until 10am. It was a little unkindly.

The building was very nice, the neighborhood was pretty.

There is parking, but it is virtually impossible to park with a bigger vehicle. The building is by the main road, and the entrance to the parking lot in the back is very narrow. Also the bed was uncomfortable. The matress was too soft.

The room was spacious and very clean.

The breakfast was terrible. Our room was very noisy.. Car's passing by about two meters from our bed. There is never anyone available to help or assist you. I would not recommend this place.

Bad

The room was close to the historic centre.

The building is on a very busy street which is very noisy during peak period traffic hours. The rooms facing the street have single glazed windows. The entrance to the parking is very narrow and suitable only for small cars so you have to find alternative parking. The garden area was overgrown and the total area seemed abandoned. The room was not as described on booking and the pictures did not correspond with the reality. The shower is above the floor level by about 30cm and difficult to exit. The air conditioner is attached to the wall with a flexible tube allowing the conditioner to be moved near the bedside table, if you unplug the bedside lamp you can then plug in the mobile air conditioner. There is no bidet in the shower room. No free bottle of water and no glasses for water. No coffee is supplied for the coffee/tea service, the proprietor stated that for coffee you have to go down to the breakfast room. No point in having the service in the room then! The kettle where positioned is not usable as the plug doesn't reach the socket. Therefore, to use the kettle you need to unplug the other bedside lamp. Not exactly comfortable. The breakfast is very poor providing only prepackaged toast, cakes and biscuits. No sign of fresh bread or yogurt. All said it's better than nothing. The proprietor stated to my previous comments that there are four star hotels in Lucca but if we decided to stay at Affitticamere Arancio it was to save money. Obviously the proprietor hasn't any idea about hosting and didn't take on board legitimate comments. Four stars does not mean luxury it means that the facilities present are of quality and functional. Finally this place is not cheap, you can find better and cheaper nearby. I will not be returning and will not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was spacious and clean.

There was no help available, reception is only open between 3.30 till 7pm. Breakfast was terrible, and it is so noisy our bed was about 4 meters from the road we hardly slept at all. I definitely would not recommend this place.

the room is really cosy with comfortable bed. locations is just a few mins from Elisa gate, price was nice and breakfast included is great. I reccomend this

the location of this room rental is not bad and the room was quiet even if it was facing the street

the reception is not open or avaliable they are only there to charge you and give you the key , after that you only talk to the cleaning ladies in the morning , the breakfast is serve yourself and very simple it consist in coffee, juice (from machine) , cereal if you want, cookies, or croissan or plum cake ( not fresh , all the pastries are to go like the ones you buy premade from the supermarket ) , I had a reservation for a room with 2 separate beds but when I arrived there was only one big bed, as the reception is not avaliable I coudnt change rooms , but they did charge me like if I had the 2 individual beds !

Breakfast was nice. Location was as promised. Lot of parking space. Room was clean.

There was a strange sweaty smell in the bathroom. Open windows for more than 2 days did not make a difference. Staff could not make preferred check in time, so we had to wait. Beds are old. Very noisy, you can hear the neighbors breathe.

Superb

The location was perfect and the host very friendly and helpful, parking was in the backyard for free (but mind the very small gateway next to the house). Shared bathroom was clean.

In the second night we had very noisy neighbours who got up at 6 am and started to sing while beginning their day. The walls were very thin, so that’s a minus.

Smart location for a weekend

The parking is a good tip and the place is located 15 min away by walking to the city center. The owner is very kind and the room was clean.

Essential breakfast with just few siting spots so it might be busy when it comes your time. Due to the high season the price was actually aligned with the hotel ones.
