It’s important to know that the cheapest room They have avail requires you share a bathroom and I wasn’t going for that so I upgraded for $28. The room is okay but the rooftop is Worth the stay, loved the free breakfast’

The pictures that Expedia uses for this property are not realistic. The rooms are small with limited amenities, paint chipping, and overall smelly and dirty. Outside of this hotel smells like straight sewer. The elevator situation is really bad too. It has a weight limit and my partner and I couldn’t even get on together with our luggage, though it says it can hold over 600 pounds. Also, there are only two elevators for the whole hotel.The only nice part was the breakfast in the morning on the top floor. I will never stay here again.

Very nice front desk and that was it. The sheets and pillows were stained, the bathroom smell really bad at all times, the a/c made so much noise that woke us up multiple times. I accidentally left 2 silver bracelets in the bathroom and I came back hours after I checked out and no one found them... Very unfortunate because the location is great and again the front desk staff tried to be as nice as possible.

I've stayed in over 100 hotels and hostels in multiple continents and I can say that this was confidently one of my worst experiences. This was a terrible experience. At first, I had an issue with the room type which as an error with Expedia, but the property was not helpful in trying to solve it and they were not understanding at all that there was an issue. Then, the elevators take an average of 5-10 minutes to arrive because the building has an awful structure. Then, the AC wasn't working. I had to change rooms 3 times (which they were very accommodating) but a good part of my stay was solving the AC issues. It gets very hot in Rio and they made it seem like it was my fault for wanting a room with a normal temperature during the summer, even though the rooms are supposed to have AC. The breakfast is extremely hot too, the view is spectacular but one can't enjoy it in a hot week. Some of the people working there are really nice, and some want to make it clear they don't want to help and just want the day to be over. I don't think this property would be bad in times of the year when it's not too bad and everything goes right. But if it's hot or if you need help with anything, this is not the place to go.

While check in staff were nice, friendly and knew English, it was so good. Location was so good, cleaning was ok, equipment was not so new. But the biggest problem was, I tried have breakfast in the hotel 2 times, and nobody were knew English. And it was an horrible experinence. I can say the biggest negative thing was this

It was not so good because the hotel charged me twice for the same room because I made a booking error. Also the hotel com did not try to solve my problem and unethically an extra 254 US dollar was charged for my stay. Although I was told by the hotel.com agent that they will refund after cancelation and rebooking of the no extra effort was given to solve my problem. Both sides accused each other of charging the fee and put the blame on eachother.

Good location but for the price u will find better hotels in the area - I found several better hotels in the area for around same price but by the time I went to do booking , others were gone . Need major renovation at the hotel . Price not worth it

The room was simple and colorful. Boho vibes. Really clean and comfortable. Lots of pillows. Staff was great and accommodating. The location is 1min from Copacabana beach which is awesome. Copacabana tends to be loud due to the live music, and I could hear a bit, but the hallway and corridors were quiet. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I stayed with m 2 kids in a family room. The hotel was good value for money, right in the beach front and had everything we needed. Rooms are not huge but for a couple of nights it's was sufficient. So just to note there is no air conditioning and no fridge in the room.

What a lovely place! It was way better than expected. First of all, very nice staff: "papi chulo" and "mama chula". Service was friendly, with humor and ON POINT! The hotel is right on Copacabana beach. Great location! And the hotel was nice and clean. Better than the photos. I got a private room with the bathroom outside, but it was no problem as it was clean and always empty. Felt like I had my own bathroom as it was just outside of the door. Nice rooftop restaurant!

Our main concern was the lack of cleanness of the room, especially the bathroom. There was even an used bar soap on the bathtub. Staff were not friendly or even receptive, and were not even able to indicate where to park the car. Rooms were too noisy from the street traffic

It was a great stay and we had a room with a beautiful view. The balcony was large with sun chairs but we spent our time on the beach. The only drawback is that it has small elevators and too many floors. Otherwise the room, service and location were perfect. I also liked the decor of our room. Well worth what we paid. I liked the shower it was spacious.

Was happy I was upgraded to a sea view. That’s the positive part. First two days there were no key cards that worked and it was terrible especially when the bathroom was outside the room.. they didn’t really apologize for the inconvenience which was horrible because u couldn’t lock your room and go take a shower without going to the reception in the bottom of the 10 story building without having to get a staff member from the reception to come help open your door. Which they seemed to really hate doing, so it never felt like it was okay to ask for access to your own private room.. I was really looking forward to this stay but I’m so disappointed now that I’m most definitely not going back. AC did not work and was very and was on when we entered the room so that’s really not environment friendly… the guy at the reception at check in was cool but…. There’s many better stays in Rio where your money is better spent. They didn’t even compensate anyone for the lack of keycards. It really feels like a prison when the guard has to walk you to your room like this, the least they could do was wire back some money or at least do something nice..

Hotel is very charming, room was lovely, but the level of service they offer at the front desk is terrible, barely hostel level. 4 staff members, not including security, standing around behind the desk while 4 people are in line to speak with front desk. No phone in room to call the front desk. Repeatedly told me my girlfriend wasn’t authorized to have breakfast with me even though we filled out an entire page of information about her. Its a real shame, the room was beautiful.

The property is excelently located in front of the Copacabana beach. It has two elevators with low capacity (4 people each) that not satisfy the needs of the facility. Access to the breakfast place is an escalator complicated for people with mobility problems.
