Good value but don't call me.

Location is perfect if you are staying in Barra. close.to restaurants, beach and everything.

The land line doesn't work. It is IMPOSSIBLE to call the hotel and the front desk is happy with it.

The price of the breakfast was a little bit too steep. It caught me off guarded but it was all good. I thought it was included in the overall price once I checked in. No big deal!I did it anyway. After all, nothin' could spoil my day ....lol Breakfast very tasteful. The food was yummy! The staff people very friendly. Suggestion: Cut down the breakfast price to half if possible. Aside from that, no complaints at all. 😎👍

Unfriendly, uninterested and chaotic staff and an unbelievable amount of issues in just anew days of stay.

Location close to the beach.

I stayed in a room, with Brazilian friends staying in another room during the same period. The checkin process for both of us took very long. Reception staff seems to be typing/clicking a lot on their computer and looking at the screen with apparently puzzled looks on their faces, even though the booking was confirmed long beforehand. The checkin/checkout queues at the reception are almost a constant thing… The reception seems to be pure chaos all the time. Sometimes only one staff member is present, even though there are long queues with people waiting and other reception staff are walking around, apparently totally not interested in helping people. Sometimes, four staff members are present at reception, but they are all staring at the same computer screen for whatever reason, effectively reducing the reception capacity to just one counter instead of four. Reception staff can be seen randomly switch place when they are helping people for reasons I cannot imagine. Pure chaos… The reception & restaurant of this hotel is shared between ibis and Mercure, and one can feel that the staff treats ibis customers less friendly than the Mercure ones. Airconditioning in the room was not working on arrival (which means it was quite warm). The window could be opened, but since the hotel is near a busy road leading to downtown, this will not help you sleep any better… It was fixed the next morning, only to fail again a day later after a brief power cut which occurred at night. Throughout the stay, we experienced 4 brief nightly power cuts in total. Whenever the air conditioning was fixed, after a power cut, it would remain off again, in both our rooms, which meant yet another trip to reception… The room keycard stopped working (both for me and for my friends in the other room, at the same day), requiring, again, a trip to the reception (and the queue) to have it re-coded.

Location is fabulous.

Great location. Long wait to get checked in, the staff was very unorganized and took us over an how to check in. Staff in the restaurant also struggled to help guest, long wait. The linen for the bathroom was terrible. The towels wee worn out and tgd size of a hand towel.

Breakfast is excellent. The location is excellent. In reality, everything is acceptable and good, although there are simple things that could be improved.

It is necessary that they put a dispenser of hot water and cold water. The reception people could make an effort to understand another language and speak a little more slowly. A transfer from the airport to the hotel costs US$50. I sent messages to the hotel asking for a transfer and they never gave me an answer. The cleanliness of the corridors should be improved.
