Staybridge Suites Houston-Nasa/Clear Lake by IHG

The first floor left a lot to be desired in cleanliness and general maintenance and upkeep. The 2nd floor did appear a little better and our room was decent. We had an incident with our room that the front desk took care of promptly. I would not stay here if we visited the area again.

We have stayed at Staybridge Suites at least 1-2 times a year for past 8-10 years. We always feel welcome and enjoy our stay. Great people, breakfast, swimming area, treats of cookies and popcorn among others. Highly recommend!

Kids loved playing in the pool. The enjoyed the game room and breakfast bar. Been here before, this is our go to.

My wife and I went to a concert in the area of this hotel and chose to stay at this hotel based on proximity to concert, breakfast served at hotel, and looked like a clean hotel for a decent price. I had called the hotel to ask if flowers were delivered for my wife there, if the hotel could place them in our room for us before we arrived. They said no problem! However, none of that was going to happen because the flowers never did arrive at the hotel lol... But the nice ladies at the front desk apparently were not going to let something like that stop a good time, so they went and decorated our room themselves. There were rose petals on the bed and all kinds of pretty things in the room. They informed me that the flowers did not arrive when we got there but we were blown away by how far above and beyond they went. Think my heart grew two sizes that day to see people still care. Very very cool. As far as the hotel, its a very clean hotel with the beautiful pool area. The breakfast the next morning was the most impressive hotel breakfast I have seen and it was all GOOD. We don't drink, but there is beer and wine on tap in the dining room! Parking lot was safe, well lit and made, with easy access getting in and out of hotel parking lot. For something being a hotel chain, which are usually exactly what you expect, this one stood out proudly and we felt welcomed and everyone was just so great. I can't recommend this place strongly enough if you are in the NASA area.

Great place

This is my third stay here. It’s far enough off of I45 that you don’t get traffic noise. Really good breakfast options and comfortable rooms. It feels very safe as well.

There are no words to express what a delightful hotel stay this was. The buffet breakfast was amazing with lovely options- especially the abundance of Strawberries and Blueberries. The meals at the evening social was superb wth free wine offered. Lovely clean room and ambience. Friendly staff at both kitchen and front desk. Please please tell me....why would i stay at any Hotel but a Staybridge!!!??

Best breakfast ! Clean rooms, close to a lot of dining, food places and shopping. Very close to Space Center.

Awesome room and setup for a family. If you have multiple kids, you can book their own room with their own bed. Parents get a king size bed in their own room as well. Great proximity to Nasa and space center. Small kitchen makes it easy to grab some groceries and snacks. Highly recommend.

Our suite was set up nicely with a sofa, tv and desk in the living room. Nice sized kitchen with pots, pans and tools. I liked the 2 seat breakfast bar. Nice bedroom and bathroom. The AC is loud when it comes on at night, and the living room is much cooler than the bedroom. All in all, if it had had a patio, we would have considered staying beyond our reservation, because the breakfast was great and the pool area waterfall was lovely. Truly my only complaint is about the coffee. I don’t think of myself as a coffee snob but what was served was difficult to choke down. That’s not my usual experience in a nice hotel.

Thin walls. Asked for a quiet room. They put us on first floor next to a family with loud kids. Breakfast not very good.
