Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Rooms are very spacious with modern bathrooms. Breakfast is slightly limited but for us it was more than satisfactory. Internet access was free and very reliable. Underground parking at a very fair price. All in all a little gem which was perfect for our needs as a family. Kudos to the staff. We will definitely return.

The hotel itself is well staffed, but can be tricky to locate in the first instance without GPS. Perfect for access to the Parc de la Tete D'or, but about a 20 minute residential walk to the edge of the city to access public transport. Our room had what it needed, but was a little likited - no fridge, dated decor. Ultimately a decent, fairly priced base for days full of off-sjte activity.

This is a very pleasant hotel, with sizeable rooms, a very comfortable bed, great shower, and big, openable windows, in a friendly, pleasantly diverse neighborhood with a lot of small ethnic restaurants, as well as a grocery store and drugstore, on the plaza next to the hotel. It's 15-20minute walk through a lovely park to the convention center. The staff were very helpful. It's ideal for visitors with meetings in the conference center, if you want something more local feeling than the big chain hotels in the conference center. I really enjoyed my stay.

A recent two night stay. Excellent location near to the Tête d’Or park. Local boulangerie and small supermarket as well as some limited free parking, although hotel does offer parking at a charge. Very clean throughout with helpful friendly staff. Easy walk to tramline and various bus routes connecting to train stations and the centre of Lyon. Restaurants also within a short walk. Rooms very clean, superior rooms recently renovated to a good standard, comfortable beds, adjustable heating and excellent showers. Only minus points - no hot drink amenities in room, no refrigerator in room. Cold drink machines available. Breakfast available at an extra charge. Very happy to stay here again and would happily recommend.

renovations taking place including drilling while my child was napping (which thye wouldn't pause), neighborhood not great except for proximity to park. no good food/grocery options. but all the staff were very kind.

Overall a good stay-- when I first arrived I hadn't realized the neighborhood would be this way, I was staying there for work, there isnt' much going on in the area except that it is very close to parc tete d'or which is huge and beautiful (including gardens and zoo). not much in the way of restaurants, groceries, etc. The hotel itself was under a lot of renovation, they were drilling the wall next to our room while my baby was napping in late morning, and they said they wouldn't stop. But the staff at front desk and restaurant were very kind and helpful and that made up for a lot.

It was a good experience overall as the staff was very friendly and the services was on point always. Cleaners always was doing their job properly, as my room was always clean and the bed sheets was changed everyday. Bathroom was always clean and the reception people was friendly trying to be as helpfull as possible. Overall i fully enjoyed my stayed.

This hotel was photographed to be updated, it wasn’t; carpet so nasty I would not walk on it barefoot and the AC did not work. When we asked about plans to fix it, we were told that’s just the way it was. The area where it is located is questionable... we were told by staff to walk through the nearby park (after walking through a run down, graffitied, & desolate labyrinth of a strip mall), and local kids threw a firecracker at us! Horrible hotel. We stayed one of two booked nights.

Good location for our trip, nice hotel, but although had air conditioning not controllable in room & staff indicated not allowed to turn temp down. Was hot, stuffy, seemed like no air movement at night, difficult to sleep at night.

First, a disclaimer, Lyon was having a terrible heat wave and the little air conditioning was having a really hard time keeping up Add to that the renovation construction noises and this was not a great place for naps and sleeping. This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, a few blocks from busier places. Some of the buildings near the hotel are in disrepair, but we never felt unsafe walking around. The bus and tram run very close and the metro and train stations are walkable distance. we walked to Tête d’or park most days or took public transportation to get to the tourist attractions. Staff was friendly.

This is a well-designed hotel. I like the considerate details of the facilities, which is more convenient than most hotels. The cleanses is also satisfying. However, I was quite shocked by the staff’s attitude towards me when I reported that a group of people were making unbelievable noise under my window at 00:30 am. They had played loud music for 20 minutes before I came to the reception. The staff at the reception said in a rude voice that it was nothing about the hotel’s business. He refused to get out and deal with the situation. I agreed and suggested he call the police. But he was still reluctant and was doubtful about my complaint. He had an expression looking as if I was too annoying to look at. But I was speaking in a polite voice. I didn’t know what I could do to be more friendly. This was my first trip to France. And staff in all other hotels were friendly and at least polite! After ten minutes the hotel offered me another room. Had to say that they still responded to the problem instead of being blind. But I felt offended and not a bit welcomed. Too disappointed! Leave strains on the delightful first impression.

The room was basic but comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast options were good. The air conditioning did not appear to be working in my room, but fortunately this was in April and not too hot, so I didnt complain.

In fact, it’s located in semi indistrial suurpundings, and close to (though not aidible) high speed train tracks. There’s no mearby access to the park. Inpleasant sieeoundings dor a walk, or to leave on foot. Automobile needed to go anywhere of interest in reasonable time. Staff are uninterested and/or officious. In short, if you want a pleasant stay near central Lyon, stay elsewhere.
