Friendly and helpful staff

Staff are very helpful and friendly, from prior to arriving to guide us for parking (note: for coming with car better ask hotel how to park, a bit complicated indeed), until checking out. Location is strategic, only few steps to access Metro and Tram.

The room access key are many times inactive by itself, we must reactivate them back down to the reception.

Nothing stood in our way of enjoying Lyon

Great location on a lovely moderately busy street; we enjoyed 25–minute walk to the Vieux Lyon, our favorite part of town. Nice facilities, the care is seen throughout. Not a large hotel, parking garage available. Nothing stood in our way of enjoying the splendid city and St.–Antoine market (it's not TOURISTY as some say – good prices!)

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The area was quiet but was close to good transport links. The reception staff were very helpful.

There was a lack of toiletries in the bathroom- no shampoo or conditioner. No shower cap or even proper soap. Room was small but adequate. No downstairs area to sit as hotel being renovated. Breakfast was fine but hot drinks were luke warm and no decent coffee/tea. Needed more fresh fruit and variety of cereal.

Room

Cost of breakfast. At 19Euros we didn't have breakfast! There appeared to be no signs for the hotel at street level from the direction we approached, only 100ft up. We found the car park by chance as there are no signs on the approach to the hotel.

Nice for a short stay

The room is according to Mercure standards and was very well cleaned. The location is nice, just in front of Metro station with easy access to city center.

The garage is terrible to park. You need luck to find a good spot. It would be nice to include the name of the products for the breakfast. It would make the life of guests with limitations (pregnants, allergics) easier. Staff with limited english knowledge.

On this trip, the worse hotel.

Parking garage a night mare. No porters to assist with luggage. Trolleys for luggage only available of you carry 1 Euro coins around with you. Reception does not mention this. Book in a disaster. No bottled water in room. No milk for coffee in room. Reception and room service does not answer telephone.
