Worth the money if you want to stay during the weekend.

It was fine closely compared to photos.

The light in the room is really bad and there are only 3 lamps . It was cold in the room when we came and it could be a bit better cleaned and the bed and pillow was a bit uncomfortable.

Nice hotel to come and go for tram and train access.

Very functional hotel across from tram & train station. It was clean and well maintained. The check in was easy and the clerk very helpful. Check out was very easy. Just drop keys in a box.

Room size is very small. No options for breakfast. Either pay for full buffet or zip. No options for just coffee & roll.

One of the best stays I had

Room: It is properly spaced. The bed was comfortable. The AC works fine even while you are not in the room. Bathroom: It is very big. The shower cabin is decently spaced. There is always warm water available. The toilet flushed properly. Staff: They were very helpful and nice. Location: It is 3 minutes from Part Dieu train station and from the T4 tram station and from the Rhonexpres terminal station. This is a huge plus. Breakfast: It is very diverse, charcuterie, cheese, croissants, pain aux chocolate, pancakes, fruit juices, many types of coffee. For sure you will find something to your tasting

Our daughter is studying in Lyon so we'll use this hotel again.

Modern (recently renovated), Clean, friendly staff, breakfast buffet reasonable but not memorable. The rooms are quite small but they have everything you need. This is a great choice for international tourists arriving from the airport on the Rhone Express. The location so close to the Part Dieu railway station makes it a great base for travel within Lyon and elsewhere in the region.

No safe in the room for passports and other valuables, fairly small rooms, instant coffee in the room was horrible.

Run down rooms which urgently need renovation

Other hotels were either booked or horribly expensive, so I chose the Campanile with low expectations, because I had been there before. But I was shocked to see that the rooms were even more run down than previously. The sink had massive cracks, it was smelly. That the rooms are tiny I knew upfront. They serve a decent breakfast with a good assortment, if you don't mind loading everything on a tray like in a canteen.

Get elevators working.

Location.

Of two lifts available only one was working when we arrived. When we were leaving the next morning neither of the lifts were working. Three heavy suitcases needed to go down three sets of stairs. Fortunately a staff member, Patricia, arranged luggage to be brought down using the service elevator. Thank you Patricia.

Quick check in. Perfect location for access to Gare De Lyon Part Dieu. Room more than adequate. A little bit tatty and "cheap" looking but quite adequate.

We travelled in to Lyon train station and did not know where we were going to end up. The property was a quick walk from the station and the wonderful staff was very helpful and spoke English! (Staff from front desk to bar to luggage assistant! All great)

It was such a small room and the bathroom was very outdated. Again - great staff and convenience of location trumped the small room and high price for the night.

Location is very convenient near the Rhone Express, Trams and train station. Large rooms with efficient check in and check out.

The room and especially the bathroom could be cleaner. The AC was not working, and there was considerable noise coming from outside.

air conditioning was not working and staff never told us. when we asked the staff they said it will be fix shortly. 2 hours later later they said it won’t be fixed for days. we tried to cancel but wouldn’t give us our money back. they said we had to contact booking.con, even though we reminded them we that we paid on site. 2 hours later they found us a room with AC. they apologized for the inconvenience but never offer any compensation
