Great front desk and very close to train station. We stayed for 1 night to break up a long train trip to the alps from Paris and was great. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at an accomodation in France

The light in the room is really bad and there are only 3 lamps . It was cold in the room when we came and it could be a bit better cleaned and the bed and pillow was a bit uncomfortable.

Very functional hotel across from tram & train station. It was clean and well maintained. The check in was easy and the clerk very helpful. Check out was very easy. Just drop keys in a box.

Room size is very small. No options for breakfast. Either pay for full buffet or zip. No options for just coffee & roll.

One of the best stays I had

Room: It is properly spaced. The bed was comfortable. The AC works fine even while you are not in the room. Bathroom: It is very big. The shower cabin is decently spaced. There is always warm water available. The toilet flushed properly. Staff: They were very helpful and nice. Location: It is 3 minutes from Part Dieu train station and from the T4 tram station and from the Rhonexpres terminal station. This is a huge plus. Breakfast: It is very diverse, charcuterie, cheese, croissants, pain aux chocolate, pancakes, fruit juices, many types of coffee. For sure you will find something to your tasting

Modern (recently renovated), Clean, friendly staff, breakfast buffet reasonable but not memorable. The rooms are quite small but they have everything you need. This is a great choice for international tourists arriving from the airport on the Rhone Express. The location so close to the Part Dieu railway station makes it a great base for travel within Lyon and elsewhere in the region.

No safe in the room for passports and other valuables, fairly small rooms, instant coffee in the room was horrible.

Run down rooms which urgently need renovation

Other hotels were either booked or horribly expensive, so I chose the Campanile with low expectations, because I had been there before. But I was shocked to see that the rooms were even more run down than previously. The sink had massive cracks, it was smelly. That the rooms are tiny I knew upfront. They serve a decent breakfast with a good assortment, if you don't mind loading everything on a tray like in a canteen.

Get elevators working.

Location.

Of two lifts available only one was working when we arrived. When we were leaving the next morning neither of the lifts were working. Three heavy suitcases needed to go down three sets of stairs. Fortunately a staff member, Patricia, arranged luggage to be brought down using the service elevator. Thank you Patricia.

Quick check in. Perfect location for access to Gare De Lyon Part Dieu. Room more than adequate. A little bit tatty and "cheap" looking but quite adequate.
