Room was fantastic. Bed was wonderful. Very nice hotel! Disappointing that parking was extra. Checked in after 11 PM. Was told to park in the lot off the circle by the front desk. Parked in the lot on the right side (Crown Plaza) at 11:16 PM on 2/11/26. Left at 9:00 AM on 2/12/26 and paid by credit card. The charge said $25.00 on the screen (ticket number 479657224767012929). When the charge hit my credit card they charged $50.00. Can you fix that?

The staff was very welcoming and friendly but the room was not clean. This might be one of the dirtiest hotel rooms that I have stayed in. There were hairs on the toilet and the remote was so disgusting I didn’t want to use it to turn on the TV. The housekeeping needs to do much better here.

Hotel was way too quiet . Staff is not very friendly. Obviously they’ve had many issues with riffraff because they made several comments about absolutely no parties being there on New Year’s Eve ( we were there NYE) . Very strange . We arrived shortly after 10:00 pm at ORD so we missed the free shuttle. When we got to the hotel the check in process was fast and the help was very friendly. The restaurant was closed so the front desk gave us a couple of options for delivery. Unfortunately most of the restaurants were closed. The real problem I had with this property is that the TV did not work, not sure if the remote’s battery were dead but end of the day, it wasn’t working. The free internet did not work at all for any of our 4 devices.

Staff were friendly, room was missing a basic amenity (microwave) but was otherwise nice. No hair dryer, but the bathroom was elegant. Phone was not functioning properly. Anything going on in the hallway you can hear very clearly. Traffic noise is pretty prominent at all times. It advertises a “short walk” to the CTA blue line, but it’s more of a “short trek” in my opinion due to traffic if you’re on foot. The sidewalk is very small and close to the road. If you’re traveling purely on foot and via train- probably not the best option. It was convenient for attending an event at the Rosemont Theatre next door, and very close to O’Hare. There’s also a shopping mall 5 mins walk away.

This was literally 5 minutes from the airport. Staff was amazing this hotel was beautiful will be back it was comfortable and quiet. I came for the outlets but experience of the hotel was 10/10 I was tryna get back to my room and just enjoy it the wife loved it I cannot this hotel just wowed me!

The Crowne Plaza’s definitely an older hotel and some of the furnishings definitely showed it, but overall, it was a safe, clean place to stay with easy access to the airport. The walk to the Blue Line wasn’t terrible at just under 3/4 of a mile, but I wouldn’t do it late at night or in inclement weather. I didn’t check out any of the amenities while I was there (pool, exercise room, etc), but I’m sure they were in fine working order. I’d stay there again. One thing to note; unless your booking with Expedia specifically says “breakfast included”, you’ll have to pay $25 for a voucher if you want access to the breakfast buffet in the morning. If you book directly through the IHG website, it says breakfast included but the front desk guy dug in and refused to honor it because I booked through Expedia. The buffet wasn’t horrible but this was my one sticking point for the property.

The facility is a bit old, but the room was spacious and comfortable. However, I want to leave this review because my first impression of the hotel was unfortunately very bad. There is a shuttle bus service to and from the airport, but I was shocked by the driver’s openly discriminatory behavior. This is supposed to be a service industry, isn’t it? He greeted and kindly took the luggage from a white woman before me, but when it was my turn — even though I greeted him politely — he looked at me with a cold, dismissive stare, said nothing, and completely ignored me. He didn’t even offer to take my luggage until I carried it to him myself. I was honestly shocked and disappointed. It left me with a very negative impression of Chicago. On the other hand, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
