smell of mildew in the room and door to room was very hard to open and close.

Paying for parking.. Noise from air planes and traffic below was really loud was awaken several times

This property needs a major overhaul & update. The room was to say less, very unclean and outdated. We Had to change rooms immediately due to the intense mold smell, and the new room was not much better unfortunately. Both rooms had broken floor tiles in bathrooms, peeling wallpaper, dusty lamp shades with hair, moldy caulk in and outside shower. We wanted to leave all together because it was pretty uncomfortable and unfortunately just felt unclean. You can tell the maids try to do the best they can, the bedding was clean & tidy and the bathroom was tidy enough, however we were Super disappointed in this stay bc it just felt and smelled gross… will not stay here again, as it’s definitely not a good value for what we paid.

Proximity to the convention center and airport was wonderful since I was so busy and it was very convenient

My shower door didn’t properly shut and one lamp didn’t work but it wasn’t a big deal

Class A Hotel room and appearance and a great restaurant (Gibson) in the hotel!!!

Parking ramp was not lit well and concerned with safety.

Big room and it was clean, had a nice shower with very good body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. Big tv with movie channels included.

Parking garage, had to pay for parking and if you leave parking garage more than twice it will cost you 39.99, I think with the cost of the room being 250.00 parking should be included.

I liked the space and clean room staff very friendly.

Kept hearing noise from ceiling could of been A/C. We were not able to sleep. Then at eleven pm we started hearing plans land and take off. By this time it got ridiculous. We had a six am flight. We needed to be at airport 4am.

Lack of service. Front desk never answered calls, you had to get your own coffee refills if you stayed more than one night Same thing if you wanted a different pillow Hallways smelled of trash Parking garage fees deceptive, I.e. daily rate was only if you left the car in the garage the entire time of your stay, if you left to go to dinner and come back, you incurred another daily charge.

I loved how we showed up extremely late. The room was still available.

The issue was the lack of knowledge the front desk had when it came to parking. I did online check in and added in and out parking for $39 the front desk said that was not possible then later found out it was. They later gave us the wrong information on how to use the privilege. You cannot use the room card as they suggested you have to pull the ticket and have it validated every time to exit. The first day I had to spend an extra $15 to leave the parking lot. Also, I've never been to a hotel that didn't have coffee set up in the morning for guests of the hotel. You have to pay for it and it's mediocre. Also as far as safety. The bridge on the second floor doesn't lock - so anyone who is not a guest and parks in the lot can access the hotel floors.

Front desk wasn't overly helpful. They only gave us one key, and they were irritated when we asked how to get to the room. Parking wasn't included either. The room was ok but not great. I had a much better experience at the Hilton in Rosemont and it was less expensive.

The staff were great and the room was nice. Wish there was some kind of ledge in the shower and that the bath tub stopper sealed properly. All in all it was a really nice stay and i will recommend to others.

My overall experience was great. I wish there were a few budget friendly options for food in walking distance.

Lighting in the bathroom was lacking. Not enough hooks for towels and other things in the bathroom.

The cleanliness of the room and spacious bathroom.

I booked a room with a king bed and upon check in I received a room with 2 full beds. When I went downstairs to question about the price of the room I paid for rather than switch rooms to make things more simple I was told that there is no price difference nor did anyone try to help get me what I paid for I was put off by the customer service. Everything else was fantastic and me and my fiancé dealt with the beds due to urgency of needing a room.

The location was brilliant. It's right next to a massive convention centre and a fantastic mall.

Our room & beds were perfect.

The toilet seat was very loose, and our two shower heads were leaking as you would shower. If I had my tools, I would have tightened up those items. The room was for 4 people and there was only 3 bath towels and 1 wash cloth for us 4. The women needed other bath towels for their hair. We wished that there was some other restaurants in the area (walking distance in that neighborhood). The hotel's restaurant was way too expensive and the food market offered by the hotel (snacks, soups, sandwiches, etc.) are also way to expensive. eg: McDonalds, Dennys, etc. something like that very near by. We were trapped in using their restaurant for breakfast or wait until we get over to O'Hare and there is nothing there unless you have to fly out and go through security. We, however, had to take the CTA to the city, and by the time we would get there, it would almost be lunch time. Sometimes, hotels like this one, seems to only cater to the rich, who usually don't mind paying a super-duper price for things. Staying in a place like this one, is simply a "catch 22". Should the front deck as us how our stay was, when we checked out, I would have shared this info. with them. Probably won't stay with Double Tree again. Joe Stevens

Gym was inadequate, Starbucks coffee was sub par and overpriced. The tv, while very modern and good quality, lacked the ability to stream movies.
