A nice, equipped place to stay for families

It is a big house, enough space for a family with 2 kids. Kitchen is small, but equipped to cook. There is a free parking place in front the house. It is close to city Zurich. It is a quiet place. A great place for families, bigger groups for short or longer stays.

The house has 3 floors, therefore with babies or toddlers due to the stairs it might be challenging.

Clean and cozy. Free parking.

Difficult to carry baggage up and down the spiral staircase. Just one bath for 6 guests. Someone should clear garbage every day atleast. The electric kettle wasn’t working and looked dirty.

Very disappointing place.

It served our purpose and we made the best we could.

Initially NO towels. Then we got 4 for 6 people and were promised more, but they didn’t come. Really this is only a two bedroom accommodation. The third room was in the basement. No door and no window. Very poor. Two dangerous and very broken chairs. They should not be there. DANGEROUS!! No cooking tray for oven to heat anything up on. Lots of loose wires around. Dangerous. Door to bathroom very difficult to open and close. Upstairs bedroom no bedside table on one side. Felt like we were camping. General bedding was not good. Was it clean or not? Really not the standard we were expecting.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the train station. Direct trains to the city centre. Bus station a few meters away. Shops are a walking distance away.

We were not provided with towels, we had to buy towels since we didn't bring any with us. Just a small roll of toilet paper was provided although we booked the appointment for 5 people for 4 days. It's a shame! We didn't meet anybody for check in or check out. Nobody came around not even to say hi. The house is old from outside, inside is ok. I wouldn't necessarily book it again but it was ok for the price.

NIce Zurich apartment in a quiet neighbourhood

The house was convenient for us as we had a car and it was easy to park beside the house and as it's a little out of the city center, traffic wasn't very heavy in the vicinity which makes driving easy too. The house is cozy and quiet and well heated and the size is nice for a group of 4-5 adults. Host is easy going and not fussy.

Minor issues but like to point out that most standing lamps in the rooms are not working and TV was not working(host did bring a laptop for us to use to hook up to internet and watch youtube/netflix etc but he didn't bring charger so the laptop went flat after a while and we didn't bother him to come back again with charger). Also the house is short of power points which makes it hard to do charging of electronic devices in the rooms.
