Great!

Very clean appartment, easy and quick communication with the host. Very supportive. Nice wine bar, very good traditional Italian restaurant and coffee bars in the near surroundings.

For us, 2 tall people from the Netherlands the bed was a little bit to small.

A dream. Would 100% recommend.

It was super clean and easy to access. The WiFi was very fast and the kitchen/common room spacious and comfortable. Alberto is highly responsive and very welcoming, and helped me store my luggage and work from the property after checking out because my flight was late.

Great for a short trip

The location was great and Alberto was very welcoming and accommodating with good communication throughout my stay.

The single room was small and in a basement next to the street so it was quite noisy & felt claustrophobic

Nearly perfect.

The location could not have been better. Quiet at night but everything you could wish in easy walking distance. Modern facilities including the best shower this side of Australia. Really easy check in and access. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable bed. Great AC/heating/drying via heat pump.

Downstairs was a nice kitchen and seating area but I could make little use of it because there was no handrail and I am unsteady on my feet. I slept wonderfully the first three nights as there were no other guests, however on the final night I was kept awake after midnight by those in the next room talking.

Great room and great hosts, thank you

Everything was modern and very clean. The facilities were very well thought out. The bed was very comfortable. The tv worked and had multiple channels and access to Netflix etc. Instructions for everything was very precise and communicated effectively via WhatsApp, booking app, and on paper in the room. Access was via fob or key, which made it easy to access. The hosts Alberto and Rossella were very helpful and friendly and they let me check-in about an hour earlier too. The air con worked well and was very nice in the hot weather. The shower and bathroom were great and in good conditions. The location to the city centre and train station was perfect. There was no noise from other guests or from the street because the neighbourhood is quite quiet.

The only small thing was the lack of natural light. But I don’t spend a lot of time the in the day time anyway.

A good value for clean friendly Airbnb

It was very clean and easy to access our room as an Airbnb. Shower and bathroom large and clean! The owner is very friendly and accommodating. He and his wife live on the property.

I did not know the rental had other people staying in rooms in the apartment. Not a negative- just a surprise.

Fabulous stay in Bologna @ Olive House

The room was very clean with modern furniture! The host was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a fabulous kitchen with everything you needed for a short stay. The location was perfect! Everything is walking distance from the house.

The location is close to the station and the city centre, so perfect for exploring. Albert has done a great job of accommodating the needs of a solo traveller by creating a space that offers enough comfort and amenities for a reasonable price.

Great stay for a great price.

Located 15 minutes on foot from both the city center and the train station, this is the perfect compromise between location and cost. The owners are very friendly and communicative; there is a kitchen with mini oven, microwave and induction stove to use. The rooms are air-conditioned and can be heated or cooled as needed. Several restaurants and supermarkets are very close by. I'm not putting this into the "didn't like" category because I did not mind at all, but: some of the rooms are down a steep staircase and have small, high-up windows.

The single rooms are in the basement; a tiny window on the upper corner can't make it to enlighten the room which turns out on a constant need to turn on the light.

Would recommend

The person managing the location is very nice and always helpful. Although he did not speak much English he was able to assist us with everything that we needed. The room and the common areas were clean. The location is good, it's close to the train station and the city center as well. There are also a grocery shop and bus station nearby.

The only issue was that our room had the window towards the interior garden where there is a kebab shop nearby, which made it impossible to open the window for fresh air (because of the food smell). It's not ideal but it was not a deal breaker, the air in the house was ok.

Great modern room with airco and great location. Lots of restaurants nearby and close to the center but in a quiet area. The owners are very kind and professional.

The room has everything but is a bit basic for the price and the other guests made a lot of noise when coming back to the room at night (nothing the owner can do of course).

Perfect stay!

The room is very comfy, quiet, easy to reach and extremely practical. The communication with the host is flawless. I only met them once per chance but didn't need to. Everything was as expected, I could reach the room and the keys without any issue. The room was pretty, spacious and clean. It was very quiet (which was important because I was here for work) and convenient. The kitchen had some coffee + tea and sugar and I could make myself eggs in the morning. :-) was perfect. It is also close to a supermarket and restaurants.

One could hear other people when they came home, since the door was thin. But everyone was very silent and respectful so it was just a minute. It was really nice overall.

A place worth recommending and returning

The location is very good, 15 minutes walk to the central station. It is safe and quiet around, it is close to shops, there is a very large kitchen with a dining room, fully equipped, you can store your luggage even after check-out.

The owner is a nice man, smiling and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the offer which included taxes and payments, especially the local tax - I had to pay in the apartment even though the offer included the same tax. This left a bad taste in spite of explaining that he had made a mistake. I hope that the new offers will not contain mistakes.

Best place to stay!

The location was so close to the centre. The room had everything needed for our stay. The host was amazing, very helpful and friendly 😊. The kitchen downstairs has also everything needed to have a proper start of the day (coffee and tea). The host even ordered a taxi for our trip to the airport. Everything was wonderful. We will go there again!

The cleanliness, location, and the host's friendlyness. I love the way he was willing to help and make sure my stay at his place is comfortable and smooth.

The noice of water when other roome flush their toilet. This may not matter much for most of people bit this may be a bit disturbing if you get awaken easily.

Great small apartment! Perfect

Great host! Very grateful to him for assistance. Although he doesn't speak well English, he was very friendly and helped with everything. I needed iron in the evening for my suit, and got it in half an hour:) Perfect service. Apartment had big kitchen with a Nespresso machine (and capsules) and even food to cook. Very clean!

Good location, cozy and comfortable room!

Our room had a bunk double bed and a foldable double bed. We slept on the bunk bed, mostly for the experience, and although my girlfriend was nervous at first, eventually we felt comfortable. To me the room was really spacious, and you wouldn't feel limited in this space. It was clean, had nice furniture and the heating was ideal. The bathroom was clean and spacious as well, and had plenty of hot water. The location was ideal because we could walk to the center and the market (about 10 minute walk), but also we could easily reach the bus (5 minute walk) to Sant'Agata for the Lamborghini Museum and the Central train Station (10 minute walk). We didn't meet the host but we could easily and instantly communicate with him, and his instructions and answers were on point. Overall we enjoyed both our stay and Bologna which is a vibing and cool city!!!

Even if it is not in the center of the city is very close to all the attractions, so position is good.

the room was super clean and prepared with very modern furniture and appliances. the bathrooms ls very clean and well equipped. the host was very helpful and friendly.the location is perfect and just 10 minutes walk from the major city areas. its excellent value for the money and I would certainly come back to Olimpia House.
