A few minutes from the beach and pubs / shops, with beautiful surroundings and common area seating. Option to buy water and beer at the accommodation and also a restaurant on site (we didn’t eat though so can’t comment). There was also a small communal kitchen as well as a shower. The owner was lovely and accommodating.
Unfortunately, our room didn’t come with AC only fan despite us believing we booked AC - we aren’t sure if this is a fault on our side or not clear labelling on booking.com. We had to pay 200thb for both nights to upgrade (£20).
We weren’t pleased with the level of cleanliness and comfort of our room and shared kitchen, it was dirty with poor insulation meaning there were lots of flys and ants. Everything was a bit rough and ready, which might be fine for some. The window in our room also had no curtain, and there was no basic amenities such as fridge, hair dryer etc. The communal kitchen had no basic ingredients and the fridge was dirty.
Overall, it was a tranquil and beautiful stay but we didn’t feel the quality of the rooms and communal areas were up to expectation of the price and listing images, especially compared to other accommodation we stayed for the same price on the island.

We liked the cats. Super cute cats were the hilight
Very small room attached to reception. Holes in fly screens. Mosquito net provided but was blowing around all night as definitely needed to use fan on highest level as tiny space. Very loud with upstairs bungalow, can hear everything. Be aware not much privacy, bungalows close together and not at all sound proof. We left a night early, used the room to store our things and found other accomadation for a little extra money. Staff were nice and a minute walk to the beach.
