It was very good value for money. Everything was in good w or king order but we didn’t really meet the owners although we did get to know their very nice parents. Everything was very clean and it was more of a hostel rather than a bed and breakfast because it had a very well equipped kitchen for the guests,
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

The Arle lodge had good sized rooms and a well equipped kitchen. I would describe it as school summer camp or hostel style accommodations. The beds were fine, the bathroom was well sized and alright.
The mattresses weren't the best, the shower drain was clogged and the Overall look and feel of the lodge is quite dated. That is fine for a cheaper hostel, but at 120 pounds a night I'm paying Hotel prices for hostel comfort, and that's where the equation doesn't work for me. And I know it's an island and I know there are more and more tourists. But that still bumps this down to more of a mixed bag for me.
