West Highland Lodge

We thought the location, surrounding views brilliant. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge.

It was to far away to park car to long walk back up hill once car parked if we had realised we would not have booked. Beds were to hard for me to sleep on fortunately we only had 3 in a 4 bed room so I could use two mattresses, I needed to sleep as I was only driver to drive 5 hrs home to Newcastle. It was our fault we did not realise we would be chucked out of the bunkhouse at 10am but we felt we were not told in a polite friendly way plus we felt as we had made mistake not realising we would be marched out of the bunkhouse by 10am exactly it would have been friendly to have been allowed to keep luggage in dining area until car was collected we had cleared our bedroom and the staff had all the bedrooms plus bathrooms to clean so they would be a while before cleaning the dining area.

Please was clean and had perfect facilities.

Location is absolutely stunning, we walked West Highland Way and this accommodation was absolutely perfect after many days in camps.

Handy one night stop over.

Very small room for four people, I wouldn’t want to be in a room that small if I didn’t know the other people. There was only one male and one female toilet and only a couple of shower’s for the whole block. We were up and gone early but I can imagine it is very busy between 0730 and checkout.
