Cozy getaway in a gorgeous location

This is a solid option for those who value comfort, ease and quality. For what we paid, we got a very clean room that did not have an abundance of amenities yet had everything you truly need, comfortable beds and neat bathroom. Breakfast was a nice add on that we had included and always was restocked quickly to ensure everyone had enough. We were also surprised by a very delicious dinner restaurant menu - worth a try! Parking is free, location is great as the bus to Salzburg is 2 min from the hotel!

Nothing really, It was good value for money. Just a general suggestion to the hotel to consider - add small kettles and couple of tea bags as amenities to the rooms - this was the only thing we were missing when waking up and enjoying a gorgeous view from our balcony!

Terrible DIY hotel

Nothing!

Really run down, not even a hotel as you would expect. No reception staff, left my.personal details and key card in a safe that other customers had access to (that's a breach of data protection), no restaurant on a Wednesday night but wasn't informed of this, luckily I checked with the hotel before arriving. Holes in corridor walls, exposed cabling in corridors, old, worn out and beaten minimal pine furniture in my room. Unsure as to anyone was in the building at night - again, probably not legal. One staff member at breakfast just clearing plates. The place was honestly just dreadful.

Overnight stay in Austrian/German mountain splendour

Location was beautiful and convenient for our return trip from vacation in Poland. Breakfast and dinner were good.

€17/night for our dog seemed very expensive.

Way beyond my expectations

The pictures online do NOT do this hotel justice. The views from the beer garden/restaurant are amazing for both dinner and breakfast and the view from my room was also incredible. The generous staff allowed me to practice my beginner level German with them but above all this the food and (more importantly) the local beer were simply the best. I will never forget my one night here and I hope to return one day.

Good location, lots of hotel parking, friendly helpful staff. The restaurant evening food was delicious and breakfast was good.

Very basic room, very thin old towels, only one pillow per person. The hotel is being refurbished (which wasn’t a problem) which is needed as the photos are not a good representation of what it is like in reality.

Beautiful hotel in the small mountains village

Excellent hotel, wonderful view from the balcony to mountains. If you want to enjoy the beauty of small village in mountains, this hotel is the best option. Comfortable bed, super clean bathroom. Very kind staff, very tasty food in the restaurant, places for hiking are nearby. Free parking also available. Would like to come back again.

Exceptional

The hotel is located around 15 minutes drive outside Salzburg. The hotel reception was manned when we arrived. We had 2 room next to each other, which were large and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent and great value for money.

We were happy with all aspects of the Hotel. It’s a lot better than you national chain and less expensive.

Good quality hotel in traditional surroundings in a beautiful location.

Beautiful location in a typical Bavarian village (albeit 100 metres over the border into Austria). A mix of traditional Alpine architecture and more modern interior. Good breakfast and the evening meals we had at the hotel were delicious

Sadly the modern upgrades hadn’t extended to the showers One room only had a bath with handheld shower and the other had a shower in a very small cubicle with a 3 minute mark sit for warm water to filter through, and then an unreliable temperature control. In hot weather we needed a decent shower!

It was a lovely stay - amazing views, lovely people and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was great, supplying a variety of options. Was good to try new things each day. The bedrooms were comfortable to stay in and provided amazing views from the balcony. Great variety of evening food at good value for what you got.

Maybe slightly bigger bathrooms but a little bit picky I say.
