Excellent stop over location.

A wonderful place to stay for a short stop over. The room was very clean with comfortable beds, and the breakfast was exceptional. Checking in was quite straightforward, and although the nearest eating and drinking establishments were quite a trek from the hotel, the owner has provided a fridge stacked with drinks. A bus stop was situated quite close to the hotel as well.

Good location and value for money.

Good location for the town of Bad Reichenhall and about a 15 minute level walk to the centre and railway station. Free off street parking. Very good breakfast choice.

The enormous religious effigy on the landing which doesn't belong in a guesthouse. Unfortunately, the gentleman and his wife staying in the room next door could be heard clearly - needs better soundproofing.

Pleasant and a lovely character house.

Lovely traditional house, breakfast buffet looked fabulous.

Bed was too short in our room if you are 180cm or taller - sleeping was uncomfortable.

Cute place and nice for a stop-over

Location of this place was nice for us since we like a short walk from center after the dinner etc. There was plenty of parking available and breakfast was nice. The house itself was quite cute also.

It is always horrible to have, in any place, the super cold and sterile "cold white light" lamps in light fixtures. You know the cheapest ones from 15y ago which makes every place look like a butcher horror movie. Please change them to warm white lamps and your rooms are MUCH more inviting. I would strongly also advice to learn quickly the art of knocking the doors before entering or trying to enter into the room. It is VERY annoying to have someone barge into the room just after breakfast and faaar from the check-out time.

Lots of "German charm"! Enjoyed being in a neighborhood rather than hotel/business area. Check in worked very well, even though no staff were on site when we arrived (arrangement communicated well in advance). Quiet neighborhood.

Relaxing stay with comfortable rooms

This was in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the mountains, 20 minute walk to a nice beer garden for dinner. My room was very comfortable and on the landing outside of it was a nice display of crystal. I also want to say that Pension Lex has the best breakfast of any small hotel that I have ever stayed with a large fresh fruit selection as well as other foods. I also truly appreciated that they had an “honor” fridge for drinks.

Although I would have liked to have paid early and been on the road early I am so happy I didn’t as I would have missed out on the excellent breakfast.

Bad

The room was clean and good location

They were not honest and did not honor our booking contract. My booking was for 158.40 euro and clearly stated all taxes and fees were included. I was charged 171.60 euro. We were looking forward to the breakfast which had good reviews for only 5 euro pp. That was also untrue. They asked for 10 euro pp - We declined. My booking stated cash only, however they had the ability to receive other types of payments. Unfortunately they don’t honor their contracts and can’t be trusted. We won’t return and do not give them a recommendation.

Peaceful apartment

The bed and the matrices were great, and it was very quiet for sleeping.

The heating was turned off in the evening, although the radiators were activated. It was a little cold during the night.

Cosy place perfect for local sights and hikes

It is a really cozy, pleasant pension, the rooms were large and comfy, breakfast decent (for German standards and the price) The interior is quite authentic with old furniture and some quirky accents (that St Mary statue!) Location is also good as you can get to the city center in some 20 min walk

No 24 hours reception, we had to call three times, so we told how to check in. The location is outside the city, without a car it would be difficult to transport.

Das Wasser im Bad lief nicht richtig ab (hat uns nicht so sehr gestört), aber das Bad komplett unter Wasser gesetzt (sicher insgesamt nicht ideal). Wir bekamen keine Info zum wifi / kein Passwort.

Zu Gast in einem alten ehrwürdigen Bauernhaus, ein ganz spezielles Erlebnis.

Ruhige Lage, gut erreichbar mit dem Auto, P gleich hinter dem historischen Bauernhaus. Im Erdgeschoß wirken das alte Gemauer und die gewölbte Decken sehr beeindruckend, in der Gaststube ist es gemütlich, mit sjablonierte Wandmalerei. Das Zimmer im ersten Stock ist sehr urig, gar keinen Straßenlärm. Eher karg ausgestattet, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Man befindet sich eben in einem Altbau. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen bei den jungen Pächtern, man ist sehr bemüht es den Gästen recht zu machen. Uns hätte die Geschichte rundum diesem Hof interessiert, Baujahr, wieviele Generationen da gelebt haben, dieses Haus hat viel erlebt und tragt den Spuren in aller Ehre. Ein Kraftplatz mit Geschichte.

Wir sind nur für 1 Nacht da gewesen. Hätten gerne mehr über diese Location erfahren, vielleicht ist es eine Idee die Geschichte des Bauernhauses mit Bilder dokumentiert aufzulegen. Zu beanstanden gibt es gar nichts.

Wir wohnen vertrauensvoll empfangen, der Schlüssel lag im Briefkasten. Unser Zimmer mit der Nummer 1 war geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Fenster an zwei Seiten sorgten für eine angenehme Zimmer-Atmosphäre Das Haus selber war sehr gemütlich. Hervorzuheben ist das sehr abwechslungsreiche Frühstück. Schön war es, dass man an einem kalten Abend den Kachelofen anmachen konnte! Für die Unterstellung unserer eBikes wurde uns vertrauensvoll ein abschließbarer Raum zugewiesen. Danke!

Die Heizung ist leider eine Störung auf, um deren Behebung man sich engagiert kümmerte.

Wir waren für eine Nacht zu Gast. Das Zimmr war einfach aber in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war absolut ausreichend , ein Eiersalat oder Fleischsalat hätten das Ganze abgerundet. Dies ist aber mein persönlicher Geschmack. Wir kommen gern wieder...
