Excellent location in the center of the city near the Christmas market. Also downstairs you have a typical brewery.

The breakfast could be improved. They also should introduce options for intolerances.

This hotel had the potential to be lovely stay but they were understaffed when we were there

The property itself is well located. It's an old building and the elevator doesn't come to the main floor so you must carry your luggage up one flight of stairs, a problem If you are not able. The rooms are kept vintage style, big and clean, the best part of the hotel. The main floor is their public restaurant and it's hard to find the reception with little staff designated for working the hotel.

Parking , which was advertised as included was a walk away and full when we got there. We had to walk our luggage to the hotel and then walk back and park illegally until we could find a spot. Stressful after driving a long day. Also the included breakfast, that runs for two or three hours in the morning was almost gone when we came down 45 minutes before the breakfast was to be over. There were no eggs left, little selection of bread and the one person on staff wouldn't refill the stations. Disappointed

Great for the value!

Room was with good view on the mountains and it was perfect for a 4 people family with two small kids. Breakfast was neat and good - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, different kind of bread, coffee, tea, juices etc. Location perfect - right in the old towns center.

There is no air conditioner in the room, but it wasn't that bad without it.

Lovely hotel to enjoy Bavaria

- Nice location in the very center of the town - Friendly and professional staff - Clean - Tasty breakfast - Great restaurant offering fresh local beers and traditional Bavarian cuisine

Mostly minor things: - Squeaky beds - Nearby streets were quite noisy - No free parking right in front of the hotel (free parking is available but you will need to walk there a bit)

Excellent location. Quiet. A restaurant with various local beers and it's own brewery. One of the oldest brewery in Bavaria.Nice view on the old town.

Glad we stayed here

Great location for our one-night stay! Bed was comfy, room clean, shower welcome. Easy to walk to dinner, and we found a free public concert nearby.

Had a hard time finding the hotel with our navigation software--so many umbrellas around with the Bürgerbrāu name. Had to wait awhile for someone to check us in.

Central location, best option to explore Southern Bavaria attractions

Hotel has perfect location in city center so you can explore it on foot. There is free of charge hotel parking, great advantage as our group had 3 vehicles. Excellent starting point to visit nearby major atractions as Koenigsee and Kehlstein. Strongly recommended

Building with the atmosphere, some breakfast and bed improvements needed though

The baby cot at the room and the child chair at our breakfast table were provided as we requested.

The breakfast items especially hams were not refilled quickly so there were none at the busy times. Also there might be second or quicker coffee machine. The beds were extremely noisy. This was our issue and we were informed prior arrival- there is no lift to the first floor- ground floor is the restaurant. This accommodation is a bit uncomfy if you plan to stay with baby carriage. The parking included jn a rate is not right next to the hotel so leaving the carriage at the car is not an option if you use it multiple times a day.

Nice and cozy place to stay

This is where we stayed during our visit to Königssee. The hotel has huge rooms with breakfast included in the price. Booked it via booking.com. Allowed us early check-in. Car parking is free (10+ car slots available) on first come first serve basis about 200 meters away from the hotel but it is safe there. The staff were polite, friendly and due to Covid-19 there were extra precautions taken during breakfast (mask is compulsory and they provide hand gloves and sanitizers. Restaurant is right below and serves good food and variety of beers.

No AC which could make it difficult to sleep during summer when it it really warm.

Classic hotel with great staff in perfect location, but not suitable for bike travellers.

Classic Gasthaus hotel with exceptional charm and lovely staff. Check-in was easy and fast. Full service restaurant and Biergarten steps from the rooms, but no noise issues. Bathroom and shower were great. Breakfast was nice but the room was not ventilated enough - would have been good to have an outdoor eating option. Location cannot be beat.

The room we had was extremely dated and not at all cosy, although it had a huge amount of space and a sofa area. Not bike traveler friendly, since only a public bike rack across the small street from the Biergarten was available - we had to ask to leave our bikes inside a kitchen storage room.
