Great location, friendly staff and a nice room.

No elevator to the first floor was probably the only negative thing I could say about this place.

At check in they required a deposit to hold and then at check out needed to check the room before we left. The room itself smelled damp and musty as well as teh whole hallway.

We had a wonderful time here. The location of the hotel is great (everything is nearby, so you can walk easily) and the hotel itsself was fantastic. Very nice and clean rooms and friendly hotel staff. The little café in the hotel was also a delight.

Quirky - could make better use of space.

Location for access to central Auckland on foot.

Restaurant - service poor, waiter bought out meals one at a time at differing intervals so noone ate together. In the restaurant is also a table football for kids so its more like a games room and an art club going on at other end so more like a community centre. Food was good however. Later we decided to go to bar for a drink. No bar staff as quiet...prob quiet as limited seating means no where to chill together. Closed up early and kicked us out. No where else to sit and have a drink to catch up. Seating for guests limited. Space could be much better designed to seat guests socialising together or waiting for check in etc.

Apartment is amazing, but don’t eat there

The 4 bedroom apartment if perfect, it has a washer & dryer, kitchen and plenty of space for everyone!

The breakfast was inedible. We paid over $200 for 2 adults, plus 4 kids - we barely ate anything because it wasn’t very nice food, coffee is from a machine and not great, then the lady from the front accused us of not paying (she was the one who’d taken our payment).

Good hotel if you’re looking for a central location (with really friendly staff)

We liked the central location close to the Sky Tower. The staff (especially Nicolas and his colleague) were incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment we had booked was good and had everything we needed as a family with two small children.

We weren’t too happy with the breakfast the hotel offered, especially not considering the price. For the first night, there was no parking available when we arrived in the middle of the night (but the staff was of great help). When parking was available we realised it was really tight with a big car. The room wasn’t very clean with mouldy showers and stained sheets, it was all a bit dated.

Very small bathroom - paid for better than this. Nowhere to put toiletries. No flannel No lounge chairs to relax TV was hopeless. Expected at least SKY facility Staff in restaurant were un helpful Paper plates....I don't think so. Paying at least for proper crockery

Walking distance to lots of things. Had food/restuarant onsite. Cafe around the corner at backpackers is very good quality & value. Amount of space in room. Bed was good.

Asked for hotel parking and were told none left on check-in at 2pm. Parking nearby is available but very expensive. Went up to room and found we had a very noisy aircon box sitting in the room - asked to move rooms and were initially told they were full but miraculously found another room. While there overhead another new guest ask for parking and told there was parking available so then enquired again about parking and there was now 1 left. Went down to parking area and it was very hard to negotiate. Parks were very small. Took last one available. 1 elevator was out of order so took forever as they were always full. Lots of noise from street & other rooms.

Decent location, wonderful staff

Location close to Sky Tower and the harbor. I loved having 2 bedrooms and a separate living room and kitchenette complete with things you could use to cook and such, if you stayed longer. Unfortunately we were just there for 1 night. Loved the pleasant staff as well!

I’m glad they had parking available, but it was a bit tight.

An odd little hotel but it's old and it was clean and comfortable enough. The cafe downstairs had a tasty breakfast.

We checked in late and the receptionist could have been more helpful in explaining how things worked.

Perfect for the end our trip.

This was the end of our 3-week stay in New Zealand and we wanted something a little luxurious, but affordable. This hit the mark on both counts.

I was told there was a $5/person discount for breakfast if we reserved in advance. We did but did not get the discount. It got lost in translation.

Great central location with a touch of opulence for the everyday traveler

Location was practically central Auckland city with FIFS parking, beautiful clean tidy rooms, with a great breakfast buffet available as well. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Breakfast costs could be absorbed by room cost or discounted. I did find the fruit at the bottom of the chia pudding to be tasteless. Best to keep it to the top or use a more flavorful fruit. Option of accessible parking and room options were available as well.

firstly, location is amazing - so close to everything really made our trip fun and stress free. when i booked the room i needed to add another person afterwards, my request was answered and dealt with very quickly and exceeded my expectations! thank you so much for a great stay, my friends and I had a wonderful time. would absolutely reccomend to everyone i know. thank you

i know it was Sunday, but we tried to order some room service but couldn't get through to anyone on the phone. no big deal as we were close to restraunts and other food places but yeah, just that one thing.

The standout for us was the breakfast! Super tasty and well cooked and a huge range of food. The room was also nice, had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The location was also great to explore skycity.

Our TV had some bring backlights which seemed a little off, but it was such a small issue when we spent most of our time out of the room.
