Great for all my needs. Only negative point was my room was kinda hard to keep cool. Was always very hot and stuff after being out for the day. Had the fan on high the entire time trying to cool it.
Will be staying again when in Auckland next

Location ok, walkable to Sky Tower, Britomart and Viaduct Harbour. A front desk staff was extremely helpful, especially with my parking issue — her service more than compensated for my small dark room.
Room lighting could be improved (ceiling spotlight too glaring, but too dim when off). Bathroom basin is also quite small.
Tip: If parking at Wilson, remember to buy the 24-hour pass from the hotel before entering. Would probably choose a bigger room next time.

My stay started off not so good, my room I was allocated the TV did not work and the toilet seat was broken. I went to reception and she offered to fix the TV. When she came up, she actually moved me to a bigger room which was great.
The new room was practical and spacious with great views of Sky Tower.
The bathrooms are small with no where to put your wash bag and only one hook for a towel.
The bed was comfy.
The blackout curtains were great.
The noise from other rooms is not great, all I could hear in the bedroom was the TV from the next room word for word, I ended up sleeping on the sofa in the separate room so I could actually get some sleep. Highly recommend ear plugs.
Cleanliness was average, it's obvious the walls get overlooked when cleaned in the day as at night the shadows reveal many hand prints and questionable markings.
TVs need to be sorted, having to log in every time it's switched on to watch anything is just not up to standard. It should be preset for punters so they can access normal TV channels if they want to and then just letting people login to there own apps. I couldn't access anything on my second night, just used my phone instead.
Location is great, right at the top of queen street with access to the City Link bus just a few steps away on K Road to take you up and down queen street if you didn't want to walk.
Would I stay again, most probably not.
