Excellent stay will definitely be back

Was originally booked in a more expensive hotel but I am glad I changed as this stay was value for money and im very happy with my service, I will definitely be back. It was very clean and had a gym which was a bonus

It was handy and convenient.

Hotel is handy to CBD and special attractions like Sky Tower. The staff on the whole were pleasant.

Room servicing was NOT done for the two rooms we had booked. When we asked a cleaner, she stated that she wouldn't do it, that another person would. This was at 4.00pm in the afternoon. This person then disappeared for half an hour, so I took clean towels from her trolley and a rubbish bag and emptied our room rubbish into it. The person just left without comment. The check-in staff seemed under the pump.....one of our rooms was upgraded, which was nice, but it meant a third room I had booked and paid for was now not needed, as the new room could accommodate two couples. I was told that there was no chance of getting a refund for the third room. I returned the key.....so I hope they didn't re-book the room for someone else, essentially double-dipping!!

Would stay again

Great location, super easy and cheap to bus then train to the hotel from the airport. Lots of good restaurant options in Britomart and shopping. Really appreciated the front desk letting us check in a couple hours early to our rooms

Only one man was on the front desk and there was a large queue. He was super composed and friendly checking us in which I take my hat off too. Appeared hotel management was more focused on other ‘tasks’ rather than supporting team members and ensuring people didn’t incurred long wait times

Not much too be honest. The staff were friendly.

Mostly the whole room. The room smelt. The shower box was not clean. The carpet was dirty. Won't stay there again.

Overall a pleasant stay and excellent value for the price.

The location was excellent - handy to shops, restaurant, transport etc. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast.

The room was a little 'tired'. There were a few issues with the shower. Communication was a little lacking - we had advised them re: breakfast and room configuration prior to our arrival as requested but that didn't seem to get through to those needing the information.

Great location, good sized rooms, will be back!

Property has been renovated which was mostly new and looks nice. Heaps of space in my room which was great. Carpeted flooring was a nice touch of luxury. Amazing location close to Sky City, short walk to Downtown Ferry Terminal. Overall loved it here, will stay again.

As it’s been renovated, the shower was still old but was good pressure to make up for that. Aircon in the room was lacking on humid days but still better than none. Housekeeping was confusing, not daily but can ask for it. Might not have been informed correct at reception and wasn’t in the compendium.

The air conditioning wasnt working in the small little gym, which made it closer to a sauna than a gym. And the LED lights in our room behind the TV were glitching like a strobe light so we couldnt leave the lights on.

Overall a very good experience

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent value for the cost and delicious. It was completely central to everywhere we wanted to go. Overall, a very good experience

There needs to be a map showing the hotel location compared to everywhere else. Without a concierge, the staff needs to become apprised of visiting options, travel around the city options and costs to inform guests.

Great location, great service, great apartment

Great location in the heart of the city and only a 5minute walk to the sky tower. A supermarket two doors down and lots of different eateries to choose from close by. We had a two bedroom apartment on the 11th floor. The apartment was spacious, and was well suited for four people. The beds were comfortable. The apartment had an air conditioner in the lounge room the seeped through to the bedrooms. The shower was great and having a washing machine with separate dryer was also handy. To be able to park our car at the hotel garage was also very handy as not much street parking (well worth the $35 a night extra, make sure you prebook). The reception is attended to 24/7 which made it easy for late check in and early check out.

As we drove into Auckland, we found it very difficult to find a park to be able to then go in to check in (not really their fault). The lifts also seemed to have a mind of their own, the doors would shut very quickly and would open before the lift was fully at level of the ground.

I booked last minute for 2x adults and requested two beds. We were able to separate the beds for two singles. There was a spare blanket to make two beds. We had a nice view as well.

Parking hard to locate, upon ringing customer service the language barrier a little hard to understand. There was no fan to disperse the shower mist or smells from toilet.

Very central location and close access to public parking

Upon check in, the room we were given had not been cleaned! Smelled like iron in the bathroom with hair everywhere. Could tell the minute we walked in that it had not been cleaned as the floor was dirty. The second room we were put into after the fact was not the same as the room that should have been booked (much smaller) and the staff weren’t very helpful in giving assistance to our query to the price difference reimbursement of the room difference/s

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. It is very handy to Queen Street where we were going out that night.

There should be more room to hang a towel to dry overnight, or more towels supplied. A rubbish bin in the kitchen would be useful.

Great location right in the centre of Auckland with very easy access to Sky City and the harbour. The room was perfect with two huge beds and everything you could need.

Offering the room without housekeeping was fine but it would have been good to have enough supplies (tea/coffee) for the two nights we were staying.

The room needed a good dusting, on top of a cupboard my hubby hung a towel of my it and it was covered in dust and the shower and pressure was terrible and dated.

Not accepting pay online now on booking .com rather pay $1 to secure your booking then finding out they wanted $ 100 bond on arrival which made the wait time to pay your booked room 1 hour wait time with everyone arriving at 2pm the staff eventually tripled up at the counter but easily could of been avoided the cooked paid breakfast at $30 is not worth it

Very old, not clean, stayed only for 8 hours and the staff didn’t even give an early check-in (although when my tour agent checked, early check-in was available). Certainly not value for money.

Decent location for a couple of nights stay

Good location right in the centre of Auckland and almost opposite the sky tower. Easy to get to decent places to eat and as we came in by the ferry from Gulf Harbour it was a 10 minute walk to get there. Clean room and a good shower.

The room was quite small with no floor space to open suitcases. Housekeeping is only done every few days so whilst we were there we never had any clean towels. Quite noisy at night and a bit edgy as the area had rough sleepers.

Would not stay here again for work

The location was good if you're looking to stay somewhere close to nightlife and they provided a daily check of amenities when requested.

The room assigned to me was directly above a nightclub. I was travelling for work and this was very disruptive to my sleep. At 2am, after no sleep, I had to request a new room and at first they said there were not any spare rooms. I then requested them to move me to a different hotel when miraculously, a spare room became available. This didn't have windows, however, this ended up being a good thing as I didn't hear a thing. Better sound proofing of the rooms over the nightclub side of the hotel is something they should introduce, or at least acknowledge when guests are travelling for work, that they should be situated in a quiet part of the hotel.

It was very noisy at night - outside noise from the street, traffic and people out and about late at night. But also the hotel itself didn’t seem to be very sound proof. Could hear neighbours talk, loud water pipes

Would Definitely Stay Again

I was only there from 2am on the morning I arrived, until check out at 10am, but it was a pleasure to crash into bed after a late arriving and delayed flight. Beautiful spacious room, black out curtains and a comfy bed. Short walk from the Intercity bus terminal which was where I was going the next morning.

The lift is as janky as heck! The way it drops before it starts moving upwards is very unnerving!
