Property is in a lovely location, and we loved that each room had an en suite.
Property wasn’t exceptionally clean, we found dishes to be dirty, sofas had a bit of an odour and found a dirty sock in one of the rooms, it definitely could be doing with a deep clean and more of a spruce up between customers.

Great social space- sitting room/dining area- with stunning views.
Hot tub with glorious views.
Easy access to hikes- we went for a hike straight out of the door, no need to drive.
Extra towels for hot tub and plastic cups etc.
Kitchen well equipped.
Owners had great communication.

The location of the property is amazing!! Looking over the water & straight onto the ‘Cobbler’. Its breathtaking. Everything on your doorstep too, with amazing walks. Great places for food & drink & Tarbet is 5 mins drive away! Property is large & spacious. With 4 decent sized bedrooms & en-suites, which is the best!! Kitchen is massive, with plenty space. The living room/diner, especially the dinning area are exceptional with a big beautiful dinning table with benches & chairs seating 12 with no problems! The property was lovely & warm upstairs. The Hot tub, was very warm & relaxing. My son & my grandson used it & really enjoyed it, especially the views. Lisa, the owner is a lovely genuine person who goes out her way to help you.
The property is up the top of a very steep driveway, with bad lighting & lots of ruts on the pathway. You have to be very careful going up & down. Lisa assured us this was being dealt with in the near future. Down stairs in the property it is cold, we had to take one of the heaters out a bedroom to try & heat the area up as my son was sleeping down there, but it was fine after a wee heat. The cooking trays for the ovens hadn’t been washed from the previous people & there was champagne bottles & a flute at the hot tub, this isn’t Lisa’s fault it’s an overlook by the cleaning team. We were woken at 5am on the Saturday morning by the neighbouring property which Lisa owns, by females laughing & screaming running round the garden. Again, this isn’t Lisa’s fault if people don’t adhere to her rules. On entry there was a strong smell of smoke, even though there is NO smoking allowed. The balcony & furniture really do need replacing, as very old & rusty. In general the property could be doing with an update, as it is a very beautiful house in amazing surroundings.
