Stunning setting and views .And dog friendly
All the pine cladding was dated . The doors out of bedroom and bathroom kept banging into each other as a badly designed lay out ...

Location. Ease of check in. Comfy accommodation. Great stay.
Not enough toilet roll and they charge for towels. Not complaining, but for the price of the stay it would be appreciated if these items were included.

The lodge is in a beautiful area. The Falls of Dochart are spectacular especially after lots of rain! It's nice with all the hills around. Really picturesque. The lodge was pretty basic but had everything you needed.
The pictures of the lodge online mainly seem to focus on a separate bbq /eating/ gathering area that looks amazing but is not where you are staying and is avaliable to hire for a separate price. I don't think this should be used as the photo of the lodge. The lodge was perfectly comfortable but I feel was quite expensive for what it was. It's a little dated. The lodges are all joined together so not that private.

The site and the views were really nice. The Location between the villages was close enough to walk to and far enough that you could not hear any of the noise
This was advertised/described as a “cabin,” but it wasn’t a private, standalone cabin. It was a terrace-style cabin—four units in a row—and the lack of soundproofing was a real issue. The walls were so thin we could clearly hear the neighbours, which meant there was very little privacy and it was hard to properly relax or sleep. The bed was also a big downside. It was very firm with no softness or cushioning at all, and it felt more like sleeping on a solid base than a comfortable mattress. In terms of cleanliness, it looked like only a basic clean had been done. While the cabin was generally tidy on the surface, there were cobwebs in the majority of the corners, which gave the impression it hadn’t been properly detailed in a while. The most concerning part was visible black mould on the bedroom window frame. Overall, the accommodation fell short of expectations for comfort, cleanliness, and privacy.
