Location, location!

The location was amazing! The size of the room was large and the host was very friendly and helpful. Although the furniture was basic and functional, it was very comfortable and clean.

It would have been great to have a tv to watch on the cold, snowy nights and also bedside tables are helpful.

What a location!

Location is excellent. History of the building. Large living space. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. Excellent communication with the hosts.

This wasn't a problem for us, but there is no television or microwave (stated in the description).

Great stay in Innsbruck, really close to everything.

Fantastic location, spacious and very helpful staff. Great old building. The apartment had all we needed for our 5 night stay. The double glazed windows kept the noise of the Saturday night crowd out too.

Pros and Cons

The host was very responsive and the location is great. The bedding was comfortable and the sectional sofa was massive.

Unfortunately, we did not have hot water for most of our stay. Although the host was responsive and apologetic, the issue was not resolved during our stay. Something to keep in mind is that the excellent location in the tourist area means that you hear noise from people and musical performers directly below the apartment (music stopped around 9:30 pm, so not terribly late or anything). Since we have a young child, we would close the window to block out the noise, but without air conditioning it was a bit warm for us. The temp may be fine for people not accustomed to using AC, but it wasn't comfortable with the June temperatures for us.

Right in the Heart of Innsbruck

-Location, location, location -Spacious (Except the shower) -Friendly and helpful owner -Complete kitchen (although we didn’t use it) -Washer

-No hot shower. Water is cool most of the time. Maybe because it's on top of an old building. -€19 parking a night. Not the owner's fault. The city has limited parking spaces. Just want you to be aware. -Pillows are too soft. -Some blankets have no duvet cover. (My travel partners refused to use them.) -Elevator is to the third floor. You have to walk up one floor.

Location is awesome. You literally see the golden roof from window. Clean apartment and adequate space.

Bed was not comfortable at all. The mattress was not good and didn't like the pillows at all. The room was not very well presented. Felt like a make shift place. Lots of storage under the bed, behind the closet etc. No space to keep clothes as both closets were used for storage. Only small hanging rail provided. Room is sound proof but not enough. Since the apartment was facing the main street (which is a padestarian stree), delivery vehicles, garbage truck etc come very early in the morning like 5am ish. And its loud and noisy.

loved the flat it was perfect for 2 people.

The location was 10 out of 10. close to everything you needed. The tourist information 2 mins walk, from there can get everything you need. Local transport is very good and the information desk gave us good information on where to go and we were able to buy a 2 day pass which got us into everything including buses and trams. Near by we’re supermarkets and plenty of cafe , restaurants and bars. The owner gave us some good recommendations . There was a lift to the 3rd floor and one further flight of stairs , thiS was no issue for us. But maybe an issue if you disabled.

Location and comfort , was just myself and adult daughter, it was perfect for us. Really helpful arranging to leave a key as we were backpacking using trains, meant we didn’t have to carry bags around all day.

Fabulous enormous apartment to stay in for a family in a great central location.

Fabulous huge apartment in the best location right near the clock tower and Golden Roof. Beautiful views out the windows. Loved the age of the building. Felt very authentic. So much space for our family of 4. Great kitchen facilities and walking distance to a lot of sights. We also received free Innsbruck welcome cards for staying for two nights which gave you free public transport. If you stayed 3 nights you also get a free cable car ride to the top of Innsbruck which I would highly recommend as the view is spectacular and a great lunch as well at the restaurant. We loved our stay. Thanks very much Martin.

We had a little trouble unlocking the door, which was only a problem if you were busting for the loo. Managed to work out the knack for it by the end of our visit.

The flat was great! It has its history, but the bathroom is very modern and you can find everything in the kitchen. There is an elevator in this building, which takes you to the 3rd floor. The flat is on the 4th. The host provides the Innsbruck Welcome cards.
