The Domus Cavour was the best hotel I’ve stayed so far if I knew how good it was I’d have booked to stay there more days

Easy walk from the train station, great location, very clean, and amazing breakfast.

We had two separate rooms, and we each had our own bathroom. This is a rare find in Europe! Very clean, and the breakfast looked amazing (but we had to leave very early). We walked from the train station, and enjoyed the location, right in the center of old town. Feels like an AirBNB, because there is no front desk or staff.

Very comfortable

Did check in on line as they are not always at the hotel in person. Their message says until 3 pm and from 5-7pm. They give you the code to get in and have the keys at the reception desk. Mostly there is no one at the reception area all day. They work the restaurant. Room 25, deluxe king room with Mountain View. The view was not very nice as we were looking right into the back of the buildings next door and into their balconies, but we did have some views of the mountains behind them. The hotel is located right next to the main parking lot at the center of the village (prices are very low, 9 euros for a day and a half) and next to coffee shops and bars. It’s an older building but awesomely done inside with glass floors at the hallways of the hotel. Nice room, very contemporary design throughout, nice bigger shower and eco friendly. Price included breakfast. It has two small balconies and very nice big windows, with black out drapes I front of the wall to close the ceiling area that has glass. They leave you reusable bottles for water with their logo. Breakfast was okay, mostly continental with some local cheese and meats, boiled eggs and stuffed croissants and fruit. The older gentleman at the restaurant made an excellent cappuccino.

If there was someone at the front desk. Having said that, they do answer the phone and provide all the answers.

Great place for a night in Tirano

Great architecture and super modern rooms. Just a short walk from the train station. Breakfast selection was very nice too.

The good bits; modern, clean, spacious, lots of hot water, a very comfortable bed with effective air conditioning.

Something was missing and I think it was the lack of a personal touch with the self service check in. The deluxe double room could not be faulted in terms of facilities, comfort and cleanliness. It just lacked personality and warmth. Breakfast would probably have been excellent. It’s served downstairs with a different management. Was meant to be open from 7am but there was no sign of life at 8am. I called the hotel number (no one on reception as already advised) and some people did arrive at around 8.30. I’m assuming someone had been off or experienced another problem. Communication is key in everything. In the end, we had to rush breakfast in 15 minutes but it did look delicious and the service was good. It’s hard to fault the Domus Cavour but I don’t think I’d stay again. Had a kettle in the room with tea and coffee but with paper cups rather than crockery. Just not my vibe, sorry.

Gorgeous decor, immaculate and centrally located.

The building was absolutely gorgeous, a modern renovation with glass floors in the lobby and stair areas, beautifully finished and very striking decor. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, light and bright. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and free overnight in the piazza opposite. The hotel is in a very central location. Breakfast was more than sufficient and the complimentary reusable water bottles a nice touch. We would stay here again.

It was a little noisy when the other guests left for an early train in the morning.

Lovely restaurant for breakfast. Buffet with lots of choices of cold items both sweet and savoury. Great cappuccino. Modern decor with glass staircase and elevator. Very clean. Comfortable bed, nice view of the piazza from our window. Good location about 10 minute walk to train station but close to restaurants.

Great value for money! Perfect location and beautifully designed rooms.

The location was very good for my husband and me. We were coming to Tirano with the Berina Express, and we had an easy time accessing the hotel. Check-in was fast and seamless, and the room we booked was big with a modern rustic design. It had a kitchen and dining area, which would have come in handy if we were staying longer. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and respectful.

The only minor downsideis that the breakfast offered did not have as much vegan options but this is something we could overlook for the other perks of the place.

Great Location in the heart of old town. Short walk from train station 8 minutes approximately with a restaurant attached that served traditional food. friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast so set us up for the day on the Bernina Express.

Just a comment, not a dislike. Glass walk ways in hall and the lift was very interesting but need to use caution on steps due to no depth of field. You can see down two floors so can be disorientating.

Very clean and this hotel will not disappoint you.

Great value and one of the nicest Hotel that I have stayed in. We done the Bernina train ride and arrived in Triano,the hotel was a short walk from the station. Very clean and everything you needed. The Breakfast was very nice and staff were very helpful. Only stayed one night but would stay in this hotel again. We had a very nice glass of wine in the bar, cannot say enough about this Hotel.

Everything the easy access to property, the rooms, location, breakfast, the little touches like a aluminium water bottle gift to take and fill up. The rooms were spotless. We were catching the Bernina Express in the afternoon and we were able to pay for a late check out which was very helpful as outside was quite cold. Would highly recommended staying there

Breakfast was very basic and nothing hot was provided except for the excellent coffee. The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were pleasant.

Problems with the air conditioning on arrival but this was sorted. The hot water was not consistent. Breakfast wsa really just continental but this is not made clear in the description of the facilities.

The frosted bathroom doors are horrible. They do almost nothing to prevent others seeing you in the bathroom. The barn door style is dead anyway. It never did provide sound blocking. Just awful. I understand space it tight but put in a proper pocket door that actually closes properly and is made of solid wood for heaven sake.
