Overall the stay was good. We were late getting in however the reception was friendly and checked us in very quickly. The combination living/dining room was functional, the bed which is in a separate room was quite comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, however the frying pan has been well used which caused a great deal of smoke. We looked but couldn’t find an exhaust fan for the kitchen which would have definitely helped with the smoke. The continental breakfast that was included was fairly basic (yet adequate) which based on other reviews I was prepared for. It included a pancake machine, assorted cereals, fruit, hard boiled eggs, bread, yogurt, juices, coffee, and tea.

The best part of staying at Robin Hood Inn was free access to the e-bikes. They made it easy to get downtown and spend the day exploring. The suite was very clean with a nicely updated bathroom and a really comfortable bed. However, the furniture seemed like garage sale finds with an uncomfortable couch, and the living area curtains were shredded.

Robin Hood was a bright spot in our first visit to Canada. The room was very clean, comfortable and convenient to many sites. We didn't use the available bikes but can see why so many people that are from out of town would...they love biking here! We, on the other hand are walkers and spent lots of time walking the Galloping Goose trail into downtown as parking can be an issue. Wonderful restaurants closer to RH and definitely walkable especially Glo. Speaking of food, the breakfast at RH is nice. A variety of cereals, yogurts, fruits, breads and a fun pancake maker. We stayed again after a trip to the West Coast and again pleased with the consistency of service. Adding a big shout out to Yousaf! He was so kind and helpful. Always had a smile and solution to any concern such as requesting a room without stair access or wanting the "quiet" side. All in all a real win for anyone wanting to stay here.

Cleaning crew only came by once during the 5 nights. When they did come by, they left our hotel room door open and only replaced two of the towels (we are a family of 4). A/c was weak constantly sweated. Saw the pipe to the back had a hole in it so we couldn't move it as it would have pushed exhaust into the room. Fridge was loud. Breakfast was okay. Desk staff was good.

Breakfast was included which was a plus, it was available in a "games room" furnished with a pool table and game areas. They had E bikes and kayaks for the use of guests. we didn't take advantage of that option. The "great room" was very roomy and served up a decent continal brerakfast. the

I rarely write reviews, but this experience compels me to warn others. What should have been a simple check-in became unnecessarily unpleasant due to the front desk agent's condescending attitude. The dated room featured musty carpets (though the renovated bathroom was clean), yet cost $280+tax per night - a shocking markup for what's typically an $80 property. The hidden fees were particularly egregious: • Despite Expedia's listing showing a kitchen, it was locked behind an additional $15 fee (which I had to pay since there was no way to keep my dog's raw food frozen otherwise) • A $30/night pet fee (though frankly, there's hardly anything in these rooms that a pet could damage) The final insult came at checkout: I politely greeted the staff with "Good morning," only to be met with a perpetual frown and the curt dismissal: "You can go now." No thank you, no acknowledgment - just pure rudeness. At $80? Maybe acceptable. But at 3.5 times that price plus all these extra fees? Absolutely unacceptable. There are far better options at this price point where guests are actually treated with respect.
