Very satisfied with this hotel and my 9-days stay. The service was great and we were very satisfied with the room service by Raj. The only downside is that the pool is in the shadow for most of the day, which is very unfortunate. Other than that I have no complaints.

Hotel cancelled my booking 3 days before the check in and asked me to rebook with double price offer. Rooms have dirty smell, staff is not friendly even they do not help us to find a taxi from the street. It was the terrible experience I ever had in Dubai.

Beautiful hotel with a great view towards the Palm from our room. We had connecting rooms for our family of 5, and had plenty of space. Kids really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Lots of dining options in the hotel and nearby. Would stay again.

Firstly, the room was very clean and i had a great view of the sandy beach, the biggest ferris wheel, the night lights - all from my bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, great service from the concierge to the front desk to the restaurant servers. The location was central, easy to many restaurants and groceries nearby, it was also near the sightseeing buses.

My stay at the JA Ocean View Hotel was truly satisfying. Check-in was seamless, even though we arrived late in the evening. The room was well air-conditioned, and I appreciated the refrigerator—it was cold enough to store leftovers properly, unlike the cooler boxes you find in many other hotels. Whenever we had questions, the friendly hotel service attendant, Hashim was quick to help and always courteous. He’s truly an asset to the hotel. The concierge was also helpful and answered all our inquiries with ease. The beach near the hotel was extremely hot during this time of year, but the resort provided umbrellas and towels, which made it more comfortable. The pool is a good size; however, the chair and lounger situation could be better managed. Many guests were reserving seats for hours without using them, and unfortunately, no one seemed to enforce any policy around that. I traveled with my bestie, and despite a few minor concerns, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely consider returning.

I am reluctant to give poor reviews, I have stayed 200 + nights in Dubai over the past 20 years. This hotel stay left me underwhelmed. After a late arriving flight, I ended up checking in at 2.30am. The check in felt quite robotic and not welcoming at all, the impression I got from reception was they wanted me away as soon as possible to let them get back to more important things. At the time of day it was, I didn’t really have an issue but I did expect to feel a little more welcomed to the hotel. The room itself is clean and a good size. There was however quite a few issues I would normally associate with a 4 star hotel. The bed was advertised as king, but was 2 singles joined together. The soundproofing of the rooms was quite bad, lots of outside traffic noise even though I’m on the 15th floor, I could also hear noise from other rooms very clearly. No mini bar and no bottled water, only 2 large glassed bottles of water you can’t take with you. The shower is not walk in, it is an extremely narrow shower over bath which for an elderly or larger person would be very uncomfortable. A towel in the bathroom was badly stained when I arrived. I didn’t use the towel once, and it stayed in the room my whole stay. No hot water from my shower at 5.30am on day of checkout. Staff at the spa the 2 times I was there were too busy on their phones to provide any kind of service or advice I needed. The only time I could use the time restricted sauna area, the jacuzzi didn’t work.
