Fantastic apartment, amazing location, and excellent service

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with three bedrooms, each featuring a large double bed — perfect for families. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is absolutely top-notch: right in JBR, with the tram station just across the street, making it very easy to get around Dubai. Overall, a truly fantastic stay — everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Great stay overall and for the money we paid at the location, was worth it.

Location was excellent - tram right outside the lobby and train a 20-30 min stroll away - train will get you to main city attractions like Dubai Mall, Museum of the Future and Burj Khalifa. Also close enough to do Global Village and Miracle Gardes via uber. I saw some comments on here that breakfast was not good, although it was the same spread every day, there was enough variety to choose from and the chef cooking omelettes and eggs for you was excellent 😊 I thought for what we paid for the hotel, including breakfast was definitely worth the money. It catered for variety of tastebuds and cultures. Beach just a short stroll. Our exit from Amwaj 5 was out to the Walk - 2 min stroll to the beach with water activity park (blow up on water) just right there. Supermarket, boots and other pharmacies right there too, if you’re after some cheap dinner option. Housekeeping team have been fabulous leaving our rooms fresh and clean. Staff were fabulous , always friendly and helpful. There was a little construction going on outside but did not affect us that much. Whenever we needed something, reception staff sorted things out for us at speedy time.

It’s a little outdated and bathrooms could have the grout cleaned a bit or retouched as it looks like bathrooms have not been cleaned that well.

Location is perfect. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. There were always taxis available and breakfast buffet had many options. So spacious and appreciated the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and balcony! Will definitely come back and stay as value for space, comfort, and location cannot be beat.

Bathrooms are a bit dated but absolutely functional with good water pressure.

Great stay because of the location!

The location was excellent, we could walk out to restaurants and onto the pier. Breakfast also was really good, the freshly made to order omelettes were excellent and it was a perfect opportunity to experience the local foods. The beds were so comfy and housekeeping kept the place spotless and bottles of water left daily. We were upgraded free of charge from a 2 to a 3 bed with full sea view which was so kind!

The apartment was massive but just felt too big and lacking in furnishings! The sofa although looked nice was uncomfortable and there were no cushions, either on sofa or on beds, the place just looked a little too basic. The pictures showed flowers, pictures, cushions and throws but in reality there was nothing.

location is fantastic, so close to the JBR and the beach, restaurants and other facilities. Apartment was spacious, clean, daily room care, plenty of water, and a good breakfast. Staff in reception were excellent. We really appreciated their support. We stayed there a number of years ago, and we will return again, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Unhelpful staff and a poorly cleaned room

The room/apartment is very spacious, well-ventilated, and can be made completely dark with the curtains for a good night’s sleep. There’s a market, park, and pool just downstairs, all easily accessible on foot. Parking is free, and access to the room is convenient. Cleaning is done daily, but it’s quite superficial.

We arrived at the hotel at 5 a.m. and requested an early check-in, offering to pay extra, but despite having available rooms, they refused to help. We were left waiting with two children, which was extremely disappointing. The receptionist was very indifferent and unhelpful. The room had clearly never been thoroughly cleaned , the furniture and bathroom were much older than shown in the photos. After taking a shower, water leaks out of the bathtub every time, leaving the floor completely wet. No spare towels are provided for this, and when you ask for more, it takes about half an hour for them to bring them. There isn’t enough equipment for cooking, and there are no cleaning supplies at all. The kitchen has only a few basic items. Although there’s a dishwasher and a washing machine, you have to buy all the detergents yourself. We stayed for four days, and the bed sheets were never changed. On one day, they simply flipped the same sheet over and made the bed again. Overall, this stay was a big disappointment and far below expectations.

Budget stay in a good location

Our flat was spacious, bed comfortable. The location was good. Staff polite and helpful.

Very tired property with unattractive pools. No private beach or beach towels provided. Ended up going to the Sheraton nearby for the pool and private beach access. Breakfast was disappointing. For a plant-based person or someone with dairy/egg allergy the only options would be lunch-like food in the buffet ie overly fried falafels, curries and rice, fried potatoes. Limited choice of fruit that tasted bland. Coffee not good.

I was very excited to return to this hotel, it was nice to meet the restaurant employees I saw a year ago and they also recognized me. Very nice pools available even up to 22 hours and very close to the beach.

In my opinion, if the hotel wants to have a higher rating, it should invest: in coffee machines for breakfast, use eggs instead of the mixture from the cardboard for omelets and make sure that the cut vegetables and fruits are ripe, but not spoiled. I am glad that the hotel has standards, but they should be supplemented with one short record if there are three people in a double room, you should leave three towels. There was no problem with towels in the pool, and I had to admonish myself several times in the room.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Roda Amwaj Suites, JBR. The property is in a prime location, right in the heart of Jumeirah Beach Residence, with spacious and comfortable rooms, modern facilities, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. We stayed at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. The staff here are very polite and friendly. All staff are professional and very accommodating. Will definitely come back and highly recommending this hotel.

Housekeeping team are amazing, Jashim and his team did an amazing job hope the management team of the building read this. Location is great,

one thing they should inform people before booking what tower and where things will be. Ie I was under the assumption my tower would have gym and pool without leaving tower. But this is in different areas. But not a big issue. But it’s good to know these things.
