Hotel is old, and in need of an update/upgrade. room stunk of smoke. Got hassled on the way to the lifts by traders within the hotel sll the time selling knock-offs and rubish tacky stuff. Would not return to this hotel. Certainly not as good as a Sofitel in the UK. Better off looking for another hotel in the area. Definitely not the star rating advertised. The pool was warm, not cooled. The location was about the only good thing. Everything else is well below, par!

Check in and check out was seamless. Rooms were clean and well maintained. All amenities were great. Baggage assistance (Porter Services) were quite slow for bringing luggage to and from the room. Tea and coffee were provided in the room but no milk or creamer.

Room stank of mold, facilities very tired, restaurant service the one night we decided not to have the buffet was atrocious. Terrible food. I was served raw previously frozen escargot. All our entrees arrived at different times. Our very si ple meal took theee hours to serve. The buffet was good and the buffet staff were great but this hotel does not compare with any other Sofitel.

Cannot fault the hotel. Spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, with all you’d expect in a hotel like this. Area is very convenient for shopping and visiting nearby marina. Plenty of options for eating out and small supermarket not far a within easy walking distance. Breakfast had plenty of choice and staff are incredibly attentive throughout

I had a lovely stay - The facilities were great and the hotel itself was brilliant. The breakfast was scrumptious with a wide variety of choice but what really made my stay memorable was Paul the concierge. He was extremely helpful when i got separated from my phone and went above and beyond to assist me in my time of need. He is a true asset to the Sofitel team. I will definitely be returning to this hotel again.

Lots of options for a beach / pool holiday. Lively area (but can be a little noisy at night if your room on the beachfront - trade off is great views). Staff efficient and extremely courteous. Very clean. Nice rooms

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Restaurant amenities and breakfast offerings are quite good. The pool has a nice area to lounge by and offers shade and sun along with a lounge area to the side. Room can be updated although clean and sufficient. Location is excellent. JBR is extremely lively on the weekends and not for the faint of heart looking for quiet sleeps, even if you are on the 29th floor. The area is alway hustling with a variety of offerings for all ages and interests. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Beach is beautiful. The area is extremely busy however. If this will be your base while in Dubai and you will be commuting, then you must add 20 minutes to you every drive to enter and exit JBR. Traffic is a disaster.

This was my second time staying at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, and it was just as amazing as the first. I travelled with my family in July, and we all had an excellent experience. The breakfast selection was outstanding, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was pure luxury. My parents absolutely loved it, and the kids couldn’t get enough of the rooftop pool! Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect family-friendly yet luxurious stay in Dubai.

From the moment we walked in, we were met with warmth and genuine hospitality. The hotel's attention to detail truly sets it apart, creating an experience that feels both luxurious and personal. What truly blew us away, however, was their incredibly thoughtful gesture for my wife's birthday. I had mentioned in passing during the booking process that we were celebrating her special day, and they not only remembered but went above and beyond to make it memorable. We arrived back in our room after a day of exploring to find a delicious birthday cake, and a handwritten note from the staff. It was such a surprise and a truly touching display of how much they value their guests. The room itself was immaculate and beautifully appointed, and the amenities were top-notch. Every aspect of our stay, from the impeccable service to the small, meaningful gestures, demonstrated a commitment to excellence. It’s a nice hotel, great staff, near shops if that’s what you want from a holiday. The marina is very built up though. No greenery. The hotel pool is tiny and was incredibly busy. The place is congested and you hear the super cars reving engines late at night. I preferred the Fairmont on the palm. Far bigger, more space to relax.

First time staying here last month. Hotel- layout and design is nice, very modern. Rooms- very nice and upto date, loved the theme and bathroom design, decent size, always cleaned and sheets changed Room view - selected balcony sea view and it was perfect! Food- opted for breakfast option and it didn’t disappointment plenty of options! Depending what time you go will depend on how busy it was and you might have to wait for a table but the wait time was around 10 mins. Staff- polite, friendly and welcoming Pool- a little small but with it being an infinity pool it was nice with a good view! Other service - NOT related to the hotel but no way reflect the hotel standard and service. Mentioning more so that people are aware nail salon 2nd floor (they just rent the space), overpriced, and the price does not reflect the quality of the work produced and the time taken (3hrs for acrylic nail set) plus. I had to go back 3 times within 72 hours due to the quality of nail glue used! Disappointment. Overall the hotel was great, perfect for families too!
