The hotel was strategically located in the food district, and nearby supermarkets provided guests with access to necessities. The hotel staff were super, they made sure I was comfortable. One of the staff even gave me a map and gave recommendations on where to go and where to eat.

We would recommend this property without hesitation. Staff are lovely, room is comfortable. There is a comprehensive Continental breakfast and many food options nearby. Everything is walkable from.the hotel and there is plenty to see and do. We'll be back.

Reasonably priced room; very quiet. This is an older hotel with somewhat dated decor, but it was clean. There was a television and good wifi; nice ensuite bath. Good location, too: less than 5 minute walk to tram / metro station, and two tram stops from Rotterdam Centraal (which was walkable as well).

Good location but no air conditioner so room was stuffy even with door opened. Also taxi when booked with hotel was 15.71 euros but taxi driver charged us 30 euro!

I had a nice stay at the Hotel Breitner. The staff were all very friendly and reception was manned 24/7. Single room was not flashy but fine considering the price. No in-room tea or coffee making facilities but the hotel does offer a complimentary Thermos of hot water upon request. Property is located at the end of a residential street, a short walk through a passageway at the end of the road leads to a main road (Nieuwe Binnenweg) with shops, cafes, bars etc. I was in Rotterdam for a gig at Rotown which was conveniently located less than five minutes' walk from the hotel on this road. Five minutes in the opposite direction, are the Nieuwe Institute and Art Depot museums. I walked from Rotterdam Central Station to the hotel in about twelve minutes. Tram would have taken about ten. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the location; easy reach to central station and shops etc. Staff was fantastic and really helpful. Breakfast was good and good selection. Shower and bathroom was good, although the built-in hairdryers really need updating I couldn't put 4 though as I booked a twin bed room and it started it had a ceiling fan, but my room did not. It had a bunk bed style bed instead, and because of no fan it was very warm. And as it was fully booked, I couldnt swap. Would stay again but only if I get what I actually booked.

The best thing about the room was the bathroom, which was Very clean and modern. The twin beds were very cosy, and the ceiling fan helped with the hot weather. The only three let downs was the stair way was very narrow, there was no hot beverages or biscuits in the room and the deco is very out dated... Very friendly and helpful staff

Everything was fine apart from the luggage storage after we checked out. We were not leaving until later in the afternoon so left our luggage and went out for the day. The luggage was left in an unsecured unit which anyone could access which was quite concerning. Luggage should be stored in a more secure place if possible.

Excellent place for a night’s stay prior to a cruise out of Rotterdam. The room is basic but well kept; and the staff was super friendly. Easy to get to from Rotterdam Central Station, and easy access to the Metro to get to the cruise pier. Exactly what we were looking for.

Poor internet speed, unpleasant odor in the fridge, and the room has an outdated feel, so don't anticipate modern amenities. The room was passable, although the TV is quite old. However, the location is right in the heart of things.

Breitner is a cosy hotel on a quiet street just around the corner of city centre. And almost next to the museum park, with a.o. the modern art museum Boymans. It is dutch so there is a carpet almost everywhere - on the stairs in the rooms. Can't be more dutch. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. I will come back when in Rotterdam.

Our stay was marvelous! In spite of the rainy weather we were able to enjoy our trips to Amsterdam, Kinderjik and around Rotterdam. I want to mention the honesty of the evening staff in the Reception when he returned the €50 extra I overpaid. Thanks very much Mr. Bovu.We loved everything about the hotel!
